This college is a good choice for average students.

Placements: Placements for the students of IT department are okay but not as good as ECE and CSE streams. The core placement scenario isn't that bright. This year, TCS has hired 10 out of 60 students of our senior batch with a salary package of 3 LPA. The core placements of past years include companies like Star Cement, Voith paper, Lynde and few others. They offered a salary package of around 6 LPA. The total number of placements in such firms does not reach two-digit number.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: The placement scenario is presently not good at Heritage. Other colleges which have a ranking less than us are bringing in more companies than our training and placement cell. This has been happening for the past 1-2 years. No amount of protest or complaints works here.

It is not your dream college, but it is fine.

Placements: Placements for civil engineering are very bad. As far as I know, no core companies came here for placements. Mass recruiters came and selected some students from civil, but the packages offered were too less. Other core branches like mechanical and electrical had far better placements than civil. I would recommend the college only if you are not hoping for better placements.

The faculty section needs improvement, and placement opportunities are good.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty much satisfactory. The college provides summer internship programmes. I think it is altogether a great learning experience. Many students get placed. A couple of instances show that the placements and the corresponding pay scale do not satisfy the student.

Infrastructure and faculty are good. Placements are average.

Placements: Placement scenario at Heritage is pretty average. The mass recruiter of our college is TCS. Don't expect many companies to visit the campus especially to hire students of streams like biotechnology and chemical engineering. But statistically, the percentage of students getting placed is pretty decent.

Faculty were really good and helpful. Placements were average. Infrastructure is very good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Mostly, IT companies recruit the students after the B.Tech course. Generally, TCS is known to recruit most of the students. As far as I know, the placement rate for B.Tech graduates from biotechnology is not very good, but students can get good results by working hard.

The infrastructure and faculty are good.

Placements: The placement percentage of the electronics and communication department is above 80%. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM India, Microsoft, ITC Infotech, Phillips Carbon Black, etc., visited the college. The highest package offered was 16 lacs per annum in 2014. The lowest package was 3 lacs per annum. The college has a placement cell.

Heritage Institute of Technology is a great place to study.

Placements: Heritage is one of the most reputed colleges in terms of providing IT jobs but lags in providing core jobs. As an ECE student, I had to face issues during placements because I wanted to get a core job rather than settling with for an IT job. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, ITC Infotech and other small companies usually visit the college to recruit students. The highest package offered was around 6.5 LPA, the average package offered was 3.75 LPA, and the lowest package offered was ...

A cool place to spend time with friends.

Placements: Placements have been very good in the past years. Around 80-85% of the students are usually placed every year. But this year placement has gone down. Out of 900 students, only 250 have been placed till date. There are chances of companies coming in the forecoming days. Hence expecting the same percentage of placement this year as well. Salary starts from around 3.5 LPA and goes upto 8-9 LPA. The higher range may vary though. Many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wirpo, Microsoft (sometimes), HCL, ...

A bird eye view on Heritage Institute of Technology- Kolkata 2016 Pass out.

Placements: All the students are forced to sit in the zero slot for an IT company which is the mass recruiter in the campus. A minimum number of core jobs are availed to the students. Never witnessed 100 per cent placements but if want to join an IT company be rest assured and can join HIT-K. Internships are generally catered by students themselves or with the help of teachers which are mostly unpaid.

Satisfied with faculty and infrastructure, but not sure about the placement conditions.

Placements: There is no student placement body. The college placement cell conducts the process. The avg package is 3.25 LPA. You can expect the mass recruiters to be the day0 company. 90% students get placed in these companies only, irrespective of your department. You should not expect to get placed in a core company from campus. There is no provision for getting internships.

Good faculty and infrastructure and a decent place with decent campus crowd.

Placements: The training and placement cell invites companies like TCS, Wipro which hires students at an average package of 3.20 lacs per annum. There are other companies like Mahindra and Direct which also visit the campus and hire students according to their requirements and skills. A year before, the highest package offered to a student in off-campus recruitment was 16 lacs per annum. The training and placement cell is decent and helpful.

My veiewst on Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements were quite good considering the number of students placed in our batch. Most students were placed in TCS with an average package of 3.2 LPA. About 90% students were placed from our senior batch as well. Regarding internships the college authorities were quite helpful. The placement cell is quite active and helps the students with their cvs and other necessary applications to get placed.

My college- the heritage!

Placements: For BioTechnology the placements were not that good. Infosys was the only mass recruiter we which had allowed us to sit, there were 2 3 more companies. But that was it. However for CSE there were a few more companies that had come. In our senior batches the placements were better, since BioTech people were allowed to sit for all mass recruiters.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, but hate the college curriculum and administration politics.

Placements: The placement percent of the college is 70. The average salary offered is 3-3.5 LPA. Tata Consultancy Services is the largest recruiter. The internship opportunity is very low. However, a stipend is offered for vocational training. There is a separate placement cell which is always ready for your service.

Good placement, good infrastructure, but it would be better if you know Bengali.

Placements: I don't want to waste much of your time, so I am directly describing my college Placement scenario. Placement is okay here. The highest package of previous year was ?16 Lacs. And average package is around ?3-4 Lacs. But one demerit of the placement cell is that they won't allow you to sit for other companies if you already get selected in any company which came earlier on the campus.

The faculty members are okay, and infrastructure is good. No fests and events on the campus.

Placements: The placements in our college are the best among the private engineering colleges, if and only if you opt for CSE or IT. The rest of the departments are just for increasing funding. This year in 2018, the first autonomy batch will pass out. They have doubled the seats. Still, everyone from civil engineering department is yet to be placed. The companies which are purely based on sales come for the placements. They will kick you out for sure if you don't meet the deadlines.

As far I know The highest salary offered is 45,000 per month and the lowest salary 25,000 per month. And average salary offered is 30,000 per month. Most of the students placed in TCS.

Placements: The placements in our college is quite good as compared to other colleges under MAKAUT. The placements of our batch is expected to be good as per the previous year's placement record. Placements in our college two years ago was record breaking. Placements in the Computer Science and Engineering department was close 90% and overall placements being around 70% the last year.
