Placements: Placement drives start from the beginning of the third year of the course and continue for the whole year. A lot of students from B.Com (Hons) don't attend for placements because they are planning for higher courses and masters degrees like MBA, etc. So, around 50% of the students get placed through college placement drives. The highest salary package of around 15 LPA and the lowest salary package of around 4 LPA and the average salary package of 5 LPA are offered. Deloitte, Brain & Co and E&Y a...
Placements: The placement procedure is still going, but most of the students do not seek placements right after graduation as some opt for further studies like CA MBA, after their B.Com. However, around 40% of our batch got placed. The highest salary package of about 12 LPA and the lowest salary package of about 3 LPA and the average salary package of between 4-5 LPA are offered in the previous year. Brain & Co and Deloitte are the top recruiters. Sales manager, advisory committee and strategic manager are...
Placements: Since I am doing B.A.(Hons) in Sanskrit. So there are no placements in the Sanskrit department and also none of the company will hire a graduate from Sanskrit. However, you can join an internship society of the college which is very good that may help you to get some internship experience.
Placements: About 90% of the students got placements. The placement cell of Hindu College is very good as compared to all other colleges. The highest salary package offered was 13-14 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, EY, Delloite, Bain & Company, etc. Roles of sales and marketing head or advertising, HRA, etc., were offered. About 95% of the students get internships.
Placements: I am a student of B.A. programme in which students don't have any placements. However, the students of Eco Hons and B.Com gets excellent salary packages. Some students of these branches get placed in popular MNCs, and after some time they were offered very good posts after getting promoted.
Placements: Approximately 14% of my batch students have cleared NET JRF exam in the previous year. Companies like ONGC, DRDO can recruit students from our college in the upcoming year on the basis of our GATE exam score. All the students are doing internships through college and with different types of societies.
Placements: In our batch, there were no such placements. Only 2-3 companies visited our campus for placements, but the students who were selected didn't opt for the job later. About 10-20% of the students got an internship, not just in science but apart from the subject as well. There is a placement cell called Disha, and it is efficient as it invites many companies but mostly private sector. It is useful mostly for commerce students.
Placements: Honestly speaking, placement is not a very optimistic criteria to judge Hindu College. Since it provides a graduate degree, most of the students just focus on pursuing post graduation instead of going for placements right after graduation. Every year many students starts preparing for competitive exams like UPSC, JAM or CAT in which they are quite successful. There is a placement cell named DISHA which works decently but most of the placements are from commerce department only. Hindu college pro...
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college named as Odisha, which helps in grooming the students for placements. Placement scenario of science students is not that good. Most of the students opt for higher studies as they are among the best minds of the country.
Placements: The placement cell of Hindu College, Delhi University recognises all the students as a valuable human resources. The cell and the faculty members act as a medium between company and the students which helps students find their dream job and to be what they want to achieve. The cell is also responsible for organising seminars and workshops which helps the students develop their industry skills. The college has outstanding record of 95% placement of its students.
Placements: Placement process is really good in our college. Average offer 6 LPA. Many huge names in the industry are some of our big recruiters. Placement percentage is around 80. Major part of our recruiters are operational research and data analyst based firm. The placement process is overseen by placement cell managed by students only.
Placements: Placements in botany is a rare thing. People who get placed, get so because of their co-curricular skills and internships. Students usually opt for M.Sc., rather than sitting for placements. Placements are generally provided for students of fields like environmental management and biotechnology. I would recommend doing internships whilst summer vacation goes so that one can get laboratory experience too.
Placements: Our college has a dedicated placement cell called Odisha. Prominent recruiters like Deloitte, Amazon, EY, and McKinsey visited the campus for placements. The average salary package offered was 8-10 LPA. Almost 80% of the batch was placed. Students were mostly offered with the analyst role.
Placements: Placements are good for the students of statistics, mathematics and economics honours in well-known companies. Every year, the college provides placement opportunities for students. Along with this, internship opportunities are also provided by these companies.
Placements: The college provides very few chances of getting placements. As per our degree, we don't have any specific skills to work in any section unless and until we learn it on our own through various platforms like online courses. From our department, only 2 students got placed in reputed companies because they are very active in various societies of our college, and they have done many internships and online courses where all these helped them to get placements. Finally, I would like to say that don't...
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements for physical sciences (electronics) students. But after graduation, we have a lot more streams to enrol like one can go in IIMS through CAT, UPSC, CDS, or M.Sc. in either of physics, maths, chemistry (or electronics), etc. There are a lot more career options.
Placements: Our college provides best placement opportunities among Delhi University colleges. All the top MNC's comes to our campus to provide placement to our students. Companies like Mckinsey, Brain, BCG, Deloitte etc. Comes for the placements. Average package of our college is 5 Lacs per annum.
Placements: Sociology is a very theoretical subject, so there were very few students who attended for placements. But whoever did, got job offers. Although, B.Com and B.A economics have a very high rate of placements. Companies like Brain and Deloitte hire 6-7 students every year, and the packages offered by them are high.
Placements: In Hindu there is a placement cell/ society with name Odisha. It's a direct contact point for all the companies that come to campus for recruitments and I think it's a very efficient and useful society, as most students from Economics and B.Com departments who want to go to private jobs registers here. I exactly don't remember the percentage of students placed but few companies that came for recruitments are Bayne & Company, American Express, Deloitte to name a few. One of my friend Sumanyu in t...
Placements: Though it is a good course, and it is one of the best colleges in India, there are no placement opportunities provided for our course. I have never heard about the placements of our seniors even. Companies visited our college but recruited students from other courses, especially from professional courses.
