Placements: We have a placement cell named Odisha in our college. It invites various companies bifurcated into different tiers namely tier 1 (platinum companies offering high packages), tier 2 (average level companies), and tier 3 (companies offering low packages). Companies like EY, Deloitte, Bain, Zomato, and Accenture have visited our campus selecting more than 50% of the candidates from the commerce department. We also have Abhyas which brings in internships for candidates.
Placements: There is a society in Hindu College named Odisha where you get placed if you're interested and talented enough. It offers millions of opportunities to everyone who shows interest in getting placed from the campus. The entire team is very encouraging and supportive.
Placements: Our college provides best placement opportunities among Delhi University colleges. All the top MNC's comes to our campus to provide placement to our students. Companies like Mckinsey, Brain, BCG, Deloitte etc. Comes for the placements. Average package of our college is 5 Lacs per annum.
Placements: Placements in the college are good for commerce courses. Chances of placements are nil for zoology branch, but you can pitch for internships as it is not hard to get an internship using the college name. You can go for higher studies later. If you take admission here, you will gain enough knowledge of what would be the best for you later.
Placements: Sociology is a very theoretical subject, so there were very few students who attended for placements. But whoever did, got job offers. Although, B.Com and B.A economics have a very high rate of placements. Companies like Brain and Deloitte hire 6-7 students every year, and the packages offered by them are high.
Placements: The college has a very active placement cell called Odisha. Several leading companies like Amazon, Flipkart visit the campus for placements every year. The college also has a very active internship cell called Odisha. Placements are mostly provided to students from commerce and economics stream, but humanities students often get golden opportunities for internships. The college also hosts an internship fair every year where everyone who applies gets an internship. Many of my seniors worked as in...
Placements: In Hindu there is a placement cell/ society with name Odisha. It's a direct contact point for all the companies that come to campus for recruitments and I think it's a very efficient and useful society, as most students from Economics and B.Com departments who want to go to private jobs registers here. I exactly don't remember the percentage of students placed but few companies that came for recruitments are Bayne & Company, American Express, Deloitte to name a few. One of my friend Sumanyu in t...
Placements: Though it is a good course, and it is one of the best colleges in India, there are no placement opportunities provided for our course. I have never heard about the placements of our seniors even. Companies visited our college but recruited students from other courses, especially from professional courses.
Placements: Placements were not good in the college, especially for our course B.Sc. Mathematics. One or two students from our department got placements, and however, they didn't join. In our senior batches, not many of them got placed. They provide periodic and timely updates.
Placements: Humanities field did not have any placements in the college. Other departments such as economics and commerce did have them. Many companies were invited for placements, and the placement rate was average. Many of the students preferred to go for higher studies in academia rather than for jobs. Students also had the liberty to look for internships themselves. We got both big companies and independent startups, and the number of students getting recruited differs every year.
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college named DISHA. Many renowned companies land to HINDU for hiring. Placement percentage is around 70% in our college since last year. Average package is about 4-5 Lacs. Mainly the roles of an analyst are offered to the graduates.
Placements: I don't know about the placements till now. I am in my second year and belong to the course in which the students don't need placement from the college. But, the college offered campus placements at the end of every academic year. Many companies recruited the students from the college itself.
Placements: The placement opportunities were really good at our college. Almost all students of our batch, i.e., 70 students got placed in good firms, including the Brain, BCG, Mckinsey, etc. The other departments, like economics and English department also get a lot of placement opportunities.
Placements: Hindu College provides good placement opportunities. 60% to 70% of the students who apply for placements get placed. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the average package offered was 5-6 LPA. Companies which visit the campus are De Shaw, E&Y, KPMG, American Express, Brain, etc. The job profile offered was mostly an analyst. The college has a robust internship cell. But, not everyone gets internships from the college. Many people apply for off-campus drives.
Placements: Placements were good. Few people got placed with consultancy firms like Brain, Deloitte etc. People also went on to do internships during their vacations. The reports were always positive and the students had a great learning experience wherever they went.
Placements: The placements for the students of commerce field are pretty good, but other fields do not have good placements at present. My course will be completed in the next year. Hopefully, it's good. More opportunities are to be provided regarding placements. Our college should have tie-ups with start-ups and other companies as well.
Placements: Being one of the top DU colleges, the placements in our college were in abundance. The salary packages offered were in between 4 to 15 LPA. Companies like BCG, McKinsey, Google, KPMG, EY, etc., visit the campus for placements. Students from arts, commerce and science streams were placed in top-notch companies. Separate societies were formed to look after placement and internship needs. Disha, the placement society was mainly responsible for placements which had members from different courses. Ro...
