Placements: We have a periodic internship fair which is quite helpful for mostly the commerce and economics students. There is not much in it for Science students. They do internships under teachers, mostly unpaid ones. The placement cell is quite idle. So the placement is not that good.
Placements: The placements in Hindu College are very good compared to other colleges. Top companies collaborate with the placement cell of our college and a lot of students get placed. Last year, the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Major recruiters are E&Y, Deloitte, BCG, PwC, Accenture, ZS Associates, etc. The highest salary package offered for 2019-2020 was 11 LPA, which is very good for a bachelor's course. Students are eligible for campus placements after their 5th semester.
Placements: The placements of my college are amazing in general, the placement cell works quite hard and in many course multiple esteemed companies recruit students. But in my particular course, the scope is in a different direction. We can either become a teacher or go for something like philosophical counseling for which getting jobs isn't very easy, but students often go for an MBA or Masters in philosophy after which getting jobs are very easy due to the prestigious degree obtained by our Hindu College.
Placements: More than 85% of students are placed this year. The highest salary package offered for the finance profile is 21.25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7.4 LPA. The major recruiters are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, HCL, Avendus, Barclays, etc. Around 90% of students get internships in various companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ZS, etc. The highest stipend is Rs 50,000 per month. The top profiles are human resources, management, consulting, and finance.
Placements: Students are placed in companies with average salary packages of 5 to 6 LPA depending on student efforts. The highest salary package is 14 to 16 LPA. College has an e-cell and internship cell called Abyas. They provide many opportunities and other non-tech internships are provided like from AICTE and NSS. There is a good culture of internships.
Placements: The placements are good enough. There is a placement cell named Disha. Students sit for placements from their 3rd year. Last year, the highest package offered was 29 LPA, and the average package was 8 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Maruti, and Jaypee visited the college. My plan is to go for Master's in an IIT by clearing the IIT JAM exam.
Placements: The students in the 6th semester are eligible for college placements. There is a placement cell in college called Odisha which calls many companies for placement like google, Deloitte, HDFC, Maruti, Jaypee, Royal Sundaram Alliance, etc. Last year about 60 students were getting placed. The highest placement offer was 29 Lacs and the average placement offer was 8 Lacs. About 95 % of students of Odisha cell get placed every year. After completing the graduation, I will prepare for IIT JAM for my ma...
Placements: In the Pre Covid batch of my course, around 3-4 students grabbed package of 8 LPA (approximately). So it's a good thing about DU that you can get placements even if you are not doing engineering. You will get internships and workshops within the campus.
Placements: Placement percentage is 95%. Some recruiting companies are Google, Deloitte, HDFC, KPMG, Maruti, Jaypee, Ernst and Young, DE Shaw, Essar, and Royal Sundaram Alliance. It organises various seminars and workshops related to our careers.
Placements: Placements are low. Companies conduct interviews for the 3rd year to recruit them but the number of students selected is very low like 5 to 6. The average salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE shaw, Brain, and Deloitte. Internship opportunities are available.
Placements: Almost 90-95%. of students got placed. Packages could vary from 3-7 LPA for this course, and the average package is about 4.5 LPA. Moreover, students try for government jobs, as they become eligible after Bachelors in Art (Music), they can also try in performing on stages.
Placements: The placement percentage is 80%. The maximum salary package offered to students is 10 LPA, and the minimum is 2 LPA. The top recruiter is Infosys. Placements were significant. About 50% of students in our course get internships, as it is a general course that students mostly prefer for further studies. Pharma companies usually offer us internships. The top role offered is as a chemist.
Placements: Here most of the students do not sit for the placements as they choose to pursue further studies or to prepare for civil services. But those who choose to sit for placements, are offered a great package of almost 6 LPA on average and the highest package here stands for 41 LPA.
Placements: Placement is pretty low. But being a Hindu college student helps a lot in future research and studies. Many students aim to study abroad. And off-campus internships are commonly done. As for the package, it depends on what and where the job is the rest always depends on your effort.
Placements: In chemistry, hardly any core placement occurs as most students opt for higher studies. If someone is interested in opting for a non-core career, then he or she could easily get a placement in a good company even if he or she has the relevant internship experience on their CV.
Placements: The highest salary package from the college is about 32 LPA. The average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. In our course, students generally look to pursue the Master's rather than get placed in a certain company. If you have additional knowledge and higher education in the field of chemistry, you can get a job at much better companies or universities. For our course, many companies related to chemical work and cosmetics are generally recruiting students.
Placements: Placement in B.Sc. (H) Chemistry is not good at all. It is obvious you aren't too qualified by doing just a B.Sc. in Chemistry so that pharma companies get you, giving you preference over chemical engineering students. The statistics department has placements. Besides this, there are some companies that come to recruit you through placement cell society, so you can try there.
Placements: As it is an art subject so comparatively, the placement rate is low. But overall, Hindu College has very good placements. As the covid had stuck, for the past few years, the placement rate was low. Our college offers various internships and scholarships which are beneficial to students.
