The institute does not conduct any in-house entrance exam for the current courses. Selection list is created for BSc based on the applicants NCHMCT JEE score and for MSc based on NCHM MSc JEE exam score. The Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Pusa accepts NCHMCT JEE scores, follwed by a counselling process for admission to the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme.
