Placements: The placements were very good at my institute. We are the first batch of IIEST Shibpur and this we have got a boost in our placements. About 90 percent of our batch was placed and a similar percentage of students were placed from our senior batch. The highest salary offered was 40 LPA.

Placements: I've recently joined this prestigious institute so I can't exactly focus on the placement stats. But as I have seen people here are placed in good companies with handsome packages. As I am a part of civil engineering department I can tell you that core companies do visit the campus with attractive offers.

Placements: This year overall package was very good comparative to other years average package of car department was 9 lacs per annum. Maximum salary was 21 lac per annum and minimum salary was 3 lac per annum. According to 2018 placement statics record 334 student got job out of 371 from B.Tech and 49 out of 266 got job from M.Tech. There are also internship opportunity for good students. There is a placement cell, it's informed us our day to day placement statistics.

Placements: Honesty first I am telling that, I have completed 1st year and now I have no experience about internships. But I have seen the placement records of previous years and also this year also. CTC of each department is increasing gradually. In our department, the highest salary offered is likely 11lpa, the lowest is 3.2lpa, but many seniors got job of 6-7lpa that is better than previous year. I think this is not too bad. Besides, in other departments placement is also good.

Placements: Only software companies and Engineering Colleges recruits M.Tech Students. In mining and extra discipline branches some good placements are available. For B.Tech students it has very good placement in national and international companies like Google, HSBC Adobe etc. In undergraduate 90% placement and for post graduate it's around 40%. In undergraduate 100% student will get internship in the prestigious companies.

Placements: I got placed in BPC India civil engineering consultancy through an interview with reference from a professor. At the year I passed, 30% of the students were placed in core industry of civil engineering but I must assure that the quality they produce withinthe students, it's not even any issue if they try to find the jobs from outside the campus, they are so capable of earning the jobs as well as cracking the different types of exams. Placements: However the placement scenario of the college is good, but the placement of the department is average. Average package is 3lakhs/ annum. Mostly banking and financial Sector recruits from this department, but students are placed in other MNC' s also. The internship are provided to all the students at different reputed industries. Students are paid a lump sum during the internship and sometime they get some pre placement offers also.

Placements: Placement in IIEST, Shibpur is very good compared to most other colleges in India. But there is lot of scope for improvement. Still Placement percentage is 80+. Here many companies visit with good package. Like- Texas instruments, cadence, maruti Suzuki, coal India. Also placement from IT company is very good.

Placements: Architecture doesn't have placements in any colleges, but the students get the excellent internships in the fifth year because of the alumni. Usually, the students go for higher studies or a startup architecture firm, but with the contacts, you get placed by the end of the fifth year, and your future is set.

Placements: Placements of the 2018 graduate batch are quite good, and placements started from August 17, and it is still going on. Almost all the students from IT and CS already got placed. Core companies also visit the campus. Comparably, the placements of electronics and aerospace branch are somewhat low this year in their core companies, but placements have boosted up a lot than the previous batch.

Placements: I am the student placement coordinator for the batch 2017-2019. We have received two call letters, each for our summer internship placements from Coal India Ltd., Balmer & Lawrie, Khadims, Srei Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Propello, WBSEDCL, and Muthoot Finance. We are hopeful that our placements will also go well. The companies which visited in 2017 for final placements were Banshan Bank, Axis Bank, Havells, and Godrej. Placements: 1. The placements was very good which included companies such as Samsung R&D, HSBC, PWC, Deloitte, IBM, Wipro, TCS, CTS, to name a few. 2. Almost 80-90% students (who opted for placements, many go for further studies) were placed. 3. The highest was around 9-9.5 LPA and the average being around 3.5 LPA largely dominated by the Mass-recruiting companies.

Placements: The placement was quite good. Most of the students have got placed. The average package offered was 5-6 LPA, and the minimum package offered was 3 LPA. On the other hand, the maximum package was around 12 LPA. During my tenure in the year 2013, Tata consultancy services, CTS, IBM, PWC, Deloitte are the companies that have come to our campus for the placements.

Placements: Placement was completed timely. I got two jobs from campus placement. One being PSU and another is Vedanta resources. Our batch got 100 percent placement. The internship programme is also here with an opportunity to get a job after the completion of the course.

Placements: Architecture is a stream where people deal with their own business so placement is not there anywhere. But all the seniors are working abroad with good and decent package. Every student gets internship in their 9th Semester but one who are willing to do the internship early, definitely gets the same.

Placements: In terms of placement IIEST, Shibpur is at good position. For branches like CST and IT is very good than other branches. Almost 70-80% student in CST and IT got placed. The highest package in this session 2017-18 is 24 LPA. Some students prefer higher studies rather than getting placed. There are lack of core department to visit.

Placements: After transformation to IIEST, every year the placement increased. More of the core companies ar coming day by day. In this year 90% of students got placed in CST department. The highest salary in this year got only 1 student around 80 LPA package that is awesome. Also here veretus offered 9.5 LPA. Pwc offered 5.5 LPA. And this institute is also very good for internship, more companies are coming for internship. If you have enough knowledge you will definitely get placement.

Placements: The placements are good looking at the current scenario of jobs in India at this point of time because we all know that the demand is less than the supply. The average CTC would be around 4 LPA. So, the placements are at par with the other tier-2 colleges of India, which include the colleges like Jadavpur and all the NITs.

Placements: To be honest, the placement scenario of IIEST, Shibpur is good. This year, only about 65-70 companies came to our college offering some handsome salary to our students. Our college authority is trying to attract more and more promising companies to our college.

Placements: The placements of our batch were good and so was of our senior batch. About 85% of our batch got placed. Rest opted out for higher studies. The highest salary was 12 Lacs while the lowest was 2 Lacs and the average is 6 Lacs. Designer construction roles were offered in civil engineering. Companies like L&T, ITDC, ACC cement, British Oxygen, Amazon, SPCL, DCPL, PWC, MuSigma, Deloitte, and EXL services visited our campus. 100% of the students got placed in internships.
