IIIT Una BTech Courses & Fee 2025: Placement, Cutoff, Admission & Eligibility

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page.  JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.

Starting the JEE Main preparation from class 11 or 12 is the best time. As JEE Main syllabus consists of topics from class 11 and 12, students can easily cover all the topics along with school. Students can begin by checking the topics that is covered in both school and JEE Main and give special attention to them. For all three subjects, study NCERT and also take help from reference books. Understand the concepts thoroughly and solve numerical problems. To crack JEE Main along with class 12, students should devote at least 2-3 hours for JEE beside class 12 studies. Regularly solve JEE Main mock test and solve previous year question papers to evaluate the performance.

Students can easily crack JEE Main. Exam if they make a study plan and follow a strategy. The first step to clear JEE Main 2025 is to understand the JEE syllabus and exam pattern clearly. Check which topics are asked in the exam and what are the types of questions. Identify the JEE Main topics that are similar to class 11 and 12 and start studying them along with the school classes. The second advice is to make a time table for your study. Ideally, 6-8 hours of study is sufficient for JEE Main. Students should choose a time which suits them best. They can study in night or morning or both. It is important that they give at least 3 hours daily specifically for JEE Main preparation. Selecting the right study materials/books is also very important for JEE Main preparation. It is advised that students begin their preparation by studying the NCERT books thoroughly and then advance to additional books. The most important advice in clearing the JEE Main. Is not to over-burden yourself with the preparation. Study regularly but also spare some time for your hobbies.

At the undergraduate level, IIIT UNA offers BTech courses to students. The total tuition fee for all BTech courses is INR 7.6 LPA. This is only the tuition fee. Students may also have to pay for the Hostel Fee of INR 2.99 lakh. Additionally, a one-time Security Deposit of INR 5,000 must also be paid. However, this information is sourced from the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. 

Every year NTA conducts JEE Main entrance exam for the selection of eligible candidates in IIT, NIT and IIITs. The admission process for JEE Main 2024 (session 1) registrations has been completed. NTA started JEE Mains 2025 session 2 registration on  February 1, 2025. JEE Main application form 2025 session 2 is available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA released the JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 on October 28, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 registration date session 1 was October 28 to November 22, 2024.

Candidates need not have 75 percent marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Main. As per the official brochure released by the NTA there is no minimum percentage required for appearing in the JEE Main. The requirement of 75 percent marks need not be associated with JEE Main. It is to be understood that 75 percent marks is required for admission to institutes which include NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. There are many institutes which offer admission on 60% and even less along with JEE Main. Candidates must clearly understand that the requirement of 75 percent marks in class 12 is only for taking admission in the institutes.

JEE Main Registration 2024 session 2 last date was March 4. NTA released JEE Main 2024 Application form session 2 on February 2. JEE Main Application form 2024 session 2 was available online on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2024 session 1 had not register again. Such candidates only need to fill the paper details (BE/BTech or BArch/BPlan) and pay application fees. JEE Main 2024 registration last date session 2 was March 4.

Infrastructure and Facilities

* IIIT Una has a newly-built campus with well-maintained infrastructure, including Wi-Fi enabled hostels, laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities.

To be eligible for the Indian Institute of Information Technology Una BTech programme, a candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or organisation with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory or mandatory subjects and a minimum of 75 percent aggregate. The accepted entrance exam is JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main). Attempt as many JEE Main mock tests as possible, study the JEE Mains syllabus wisely.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

Based on the information provided, the effectiveness of the placement cell for BE/BTech programs at IIIT Una can be assessed as follows:
