Overall best College for PGPM Course.

Placements: Students have a great opportunity to apply for our degree at IIM Shillong. Approximately 60–75% of students are accepted into this college. In our college, the average package supplied was between 11 and 25 LPA. This college also offers vocational training to its students. For our course, the top employers at this college are Ford, HDFC Bank, Google, IBM, Accenture, and others. Program Executive, Project Manager, and other high-level positions are available.

Infrastructure: Being a temporary university, it lacks various basic facilities like a sports center, computer lab, etc., but the university is well-located. All the basic requirements are nearby. We would transfer to the new campus this year. The hotel rooms are small and can accommodate two or three people. Mess food is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members typically have advanced degrees from prestigious institutions and have significant research and teaching experience. Teachers often have exceptional expertise in their field, bringing both teaching and practical insights to the classroom. In semester exams, it is easy to score high marks, and the pass rate of students is 87%.

One of the best colleges and excellent infrastructure available.

Placements: Approximately 85% of students were placed in our college. Many MNCs, IBM, Deloitte, and Solar companies visited and offered the highest salary package of 35 LPA and the lowest salary package of 12 LPA. More than 15% of students got internships in other sectors.

Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and facilities are available like Wi-Fi, labs, library, food, medical facilities are available, separate departments are available, sports and games are conducted, and cultural events are included. The mess and canteen are very hygienic. The food is also very decent.

Faculty: Lectures are very helpful for us. They have good qualifications and knowledge. The teaching quality is excellent which makes students industry-ready. Exams are very easy if we read daily can get good scores in the exams.50% marks are required to pass the semester exams.

Our college has well-qualified faculty and placement opportunities for this course.

Placements: At IIM Shillong, students get very good placement opportunities in our course. Around 50-55% of the students get placed at this college. The average package offered at our college was between 5-6 LPA. Students also get internships at this college. Top recruiters at this college are IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Walmart, etc., for our course. Top roles offered are programme executive, project manager, HR, relationship manager, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available at IIM Shillong for the PGPM course are very good. The college provides all the modern facilities to its students for their interactive learning and development. The college has a big campus with facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, classrooms, sports ground, etc., for the students. The food in the college canteen is good to eat. Hostel facilities are also of good quality.

Faculty: The faculty of IIM Shillong are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable for our course. The quality of teaching offered at this college is very good. The course curriculum followed at our college is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Exams at the college are not very hard to pass. Review of IIM Shillong - Indian Institute of Management.

Placements: Our college provides very good placement opportunities. More than 90% of students got placed in top MNCs. The highest salary package offered is 53 LPA.

Infrastructure: The academic buildings are not good. All classrooms and lecture halls are very good. The hostel facility is available on campus.

Faculty: All teachers are dedicated. They organise workshops. Exams are difficult if we don't attend classes regularly.

Other: Our college conducts cultural events that enhance the overall learning environment. Many scholars visit our college.

Hard Reality of IIM Shillong 1 year course.

Placements: Out of 26 students only 14 students got placed by Placement cell, rest 5 got job after many difficulties through outside sources. 6 students are still struggling for getting a job after 5.5 months of course end. The highest Placement India- 20 LPA the highest Placement Outside- 28LPA the lowest placement - 10LPA Top Roles - Sr. Consultant by Cognizant & Accenture.

Infrastructure: Facilities were not upto the mark, no proper infrastructure. Every time internet issues in the campus, no special tools were provided to faculty members for online teaching like good camera, sound system. Out of 1.15 hr session, 20 minutes wasted in connecting to the platform. Canteen food is the worst, rely on outside food if you have money to spend.

Faculty: All teachers and study materials used were too old, not new technologies used for teaching. Even study materials need to be updated to keep students upto date from the changing market conditions. No it doesn't make the student industry ready, that's why still students are struggling to get job. Semester exams are too easy to clear.

Other: I chose this college for the IIM tag but got the reality after entering the college. Nothing best happened to our batch as we were Covid Victim. First of all college need to understand the market needs and remove the "n" no of cultural courses from the curriculum. Cultural courses are just reducing the no of courses and it doesn't give any benefit to the students.
