IISER Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Few students got placed in our course. This college is meant to make you a scientist not to train you for corporate life. You can find jobs in CSIR and other laboratories after completing this degree. Many students opted for higher studies in this college.

Placements: Most students interested in placements managed to secure offers, roles varied from traditional SDE & Data Science Associates to Investment Banking & Management roles, jobs at coaching classes, Big 4 consultant firms, tech-based startups also offered great packages in excess of 10lpa.

Placements: In our college, placements are average. Almost 80% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Tata, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internship opportunities as well. You can mail directly to the professors to earn an opportunity to work in their respective labs. During your internship period, you get the opportunity to work with our college teachers and some experienced members.

Placements: Companies like NOMURA, ZD, and Deloitte offered placements here. The salary package ranged from 10 lakhs to 30 lakhs. A significant number of students get placed which is around 5 percent of the total students. Almost every student gets internship from these courses in various elite institutes and reputed companies like IBM.

Placements: The first thing you need to understand is that this is a college set up by the government for research, particularly at the UG level. Now college is focusing on PG research for the past many years. Therefore most of the students after completing their MS or Ph.D. go for higher studies. So very few students are interested in campus placements but thanks to BS engineering. and economics courses, those guys opt for jobs more than BSMS students, thus few well-reputed companies now know IISER Bhopal ...

Placements: Placements are average. The highest and the lowest salary packages are 19.4 LPA and 8 LPA. Top recruitment companies include Deloitte. R&D, and research. Around 70% of students got internships related to research.

Placements: Companies such as Deloitte India and Nurture Farm have recruited students. The average salary package is 11.4 LPA. Also, one student recently got placed for 27 LPA in the Nurture Farm. Most of the students are from B. S. Engineering and Economic Science. Many students do not participate in placements. They generally prefer internships and pursue higher studies.

Placements: For the current passing out batch, the highest salary package offered is 27 LPA. Students are placed in firms like Deloitte, Nurture, etc. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Other recruiters include Dr. Reddy, however a considerable portion of the batch goes for Ph.D. as well.

Placements: Quite a bunch of people around 35% got placed in the R&D branches of various companies. Some people about 45% got Ph.D. admissions abroad. The top roles range from being the lead scientist of an R&D at a pharmaceutical company, and corporate jobs, to being a professor.

Placements: Our college is research-based, so most of the students opt for a PhD. The engineering science and economic science branches are new, and the first batch will pass in 2022. So we do not have exact data on placements, but as of now, Deloitte provides placements at a salary package of 13 LPA to students. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA Deloitte.

Placements: Our college has good placements record although this college is research orientated. Top recruiters are many government research institutions like ISRO Bhabha Atomic Research. Many students get internships in foreign. Our course is BSMS if any student gets placements from this course then they are working on the research and development department of the company.

Placements: Depends on the students. If they want to be placed then they have to contact the placement cell ICDPC office in their 5th year. They hardly get any placement even if they get, they are hired for quite a decent package sufficient to sustain family, Hope this could improve in the coming years. Most of them opt for Ph.D. rather than Job.

Placements: The college is not made for placement. The college is for research. Almost, 80-85 percent goes for research Ph.D. in some good and established universities, and rest of them either go for MBA, and about 5-10 percent go for placement. The average placement is like 8 LPA. Very less companies have recruited from IISER. Two of them were Reliance and Caltech.

Placements: Around 60-80% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs 70,000, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 40,000. The salary can vary from company to company.

Placements: Generally, students in IISER don't look for job placements but for Ph.D. positions to continue research. So the placement is nearly negligible in IISERs in general. After a physics MS degree students go for JRF positions if not for a Ph.D. call up. Some of the students who go in the industry usually end up with a high paying government job with regular increment.

Placements: The placements occur on a small level, but the information regarding that is with the respective officials. But most of the students opt for research jobs and PhDs. People get placed in research firms. The first batch of economics and engineering science is yet to pass out, so I cannot say anything about their placements.

Placements: Our college is generally not meant for placements. These are research institutions, and hence most people here opt for PhD after graduation from prestigious universities of the world. In recent years, the student development council is doing a good job in providing students with good placement opportunities.

Placements: The placement process is good and the placement is totally based on the capability of the student and hence a person needs to be ready for it. Other training is been provided to the students from the side of the college and various projects and assignments are also given.

Placements: Almost 50 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 50,000 per annum and the average salary package offered is 1 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is Toppr. Almost 10 to 20% of the students got an internship in BARC, MIT, ISRO and NCL. Students get roles like a basic understanding of science, the practical experience of the research and also the understanding of how the research is being carried out at a large level.

Placements: Most of the students opt for PhD programmes. Seniors got PhD positions in prestigious universities in USA, Germany, France, England, Japan, etc. Many students get PhD positions in India as well. In the last couple of years, our placement cell has done wonderful work. In our department, two students got placed with handsome salary packages.
