IISER Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Generally, students in IISER don't look for job placements but for Ph.D. positions to continue research. So the placement is nearly negligible in IISERs in general. After a physics MS degree students go for JRF positions if not for a Ph.D. call up. Some of the students who go in the industry usually end up with a high paying government job with regular increment.

Placements: The placements occur on a small level, but the information regarding that is with the respective officials. But most of the students opt for research jobs and PhDs. People get placed in research firms. The first batch of economics and engineering science is yet to pass out, so I cannot say anything about their placements.

Placements: Our college is generally not meant for placements. These are research institutions, and hence most people here opt for PhD after graduation from prestigious universities of the world. In recent years, the student development council is doing a good job in providing students with good placement opportunities.

Placements: The placement process is good and the placement is totally based on the capability of the student and hence a person needs to be ready for it. Other training is been provided to the students from the side of the college and various projects and assignments are also given.

Placements: Almost 50 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 50,000 per annum and the average salary package offered is 1 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is Toppr. Almost 10 to 20% of the students got an internship in BARC, MIT, ISRO and NCL. Students get roles like a basic understanding of science, the practical experience of the research and also the understanding of how the research is being carried out at a large level.

Placements: Most of the students opt for PhD programmes. Seniors got PhD positions in prestigious universities in USA, Germany, France, England, Japan, etc. Many students get PhD positions in India as well. In the last couple of years, our placement cell has done wonderful work. In our department, two students got placed with handsome salary packages. Placements: Placements at IISER Bhopal is very good. Mainly students after BS-MS degree pursue higher studies in the world abroad universities like MIT Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford and Princeton etc. Some of the students admitted in Top IITS for PhD and many students placed in job sectors. Students got placed in Pharma, chemical industries, biotech industries. Placements rate is more than 85%, according to records for the last three years.

Placements: Recently, the career development cell improving the placements position in our institute. In last year two companies have visited the campus and based on the counselling of 3 stages, they recruit two merit students in our chemistry department. And this year, most probably many companies will visit our campus.

Placements: The amount of placements here are actually low because students here opt for higher studies or prepare for competitive exams like CAT UPSE etc. Therefore the number of students placed is also low. Educational companies like Topper, Byju etc. And research related companies visits the campus. Placements: The IISER's were established by the MHRD with the objective of promoting Fundamental Science. The curriculum of our Institutes is designed to create a strong foundation in Science and research. Placements: In recent year(2023) , almost 90% of students were placed and many of them were placed internationally of PhD offers. The highest package for the bs ms physics was approx 85+LPA and the lowest was 6LPA. Companies offers - Amazon, Google etc. From 3 or 4 year you get to start your internship for the practical knowledge and that too is very good.

Placements: General students opt for higher studies globally, mostly in research-oriented colleges. Our college has a placement cell. A few students registered as most prefer pursuing higher education and research.

Placements: Placement in the IISER Bhopal is not that good. Only a few people get placement from IISER. Basically, this college is known for basic science learning, where you learn the core of any subject. Some placements students get are usually from Dr Reddy's lab and the Ajim Premji Foundation. An Iiser graduate student's Ph.D. is a very good option. Students usually do a Ph.D. after passing out of college.

Placements: Join this college if you want a future in the research field. Don't join this college if you want to earn a lot of money. You will definitely earn a decent amount, and it won't be as high as Google or Facebook offer salary package. At present, the college does not provide many placements. There is a placement cell, but they aren't able to invite many companies. Placements are provided mostly for physics and ECS people or in the management sector, etc.
