IISER Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: My college is one of the bad colleges which can ever exist. To be honest, only infrastructure and free Wi-Fi are its benefits. Everyone is a maniac here and teachers don't have experience in teaching they are just teaching things which are already taught to us previously. We know these things from our class twelfth or college, so it would be much better if the teachers thought us really interesting things, rather than boring stuff. Placements: Placements at IISER Bhopal is very good. Mainly students after BS-MS degree pursue higher studies in the world abroad universities like MIT Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford and Princeton etc. Some of the students admitted in Top IITS for PhD and many students placed in job sectors. Students got placed in Pharma, chemical industries, biotech industries. Placements rate is more than 85%, according to records for the last three years.

Placements: Recently, the career development cell improving the placements position in our institute. In last year two companies have visited the campus and based on the counselling of 3 stages, they recruit two merit students in our chemistry department. And this year, most probably many companies will visit our campus.

Placements: In 2019, the first batch of BS-MS in EES will graduate. Hence placement data from this department is not available. However, with the recent initiation of the placement cell led by an active team of students with cooperation from the administration has started making efforts towards inviting companies for placements and creating opportunities.

Placements: In IISER Bhopal we don't have good placement opportunities. However, it will take some more years to provide placements because the college has just completed its 10 years. Last year, out of 30 students of our senior batch, 3 students got placed in a private laboratory as a scientist. The average salary package offered was around Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month. Placements: The amount of placements here are actually low because students here opt for higher studies or prepare for competitive exams like CAT UPSE etc. Therefore the number of students placed is also low. Educational companies like Topper, Byju etc. And research related companies visits the campus. Placements: The IISER's were established by the MHRD with the objective of promoting Fundamental Science. The curriculum of our Institutes is designed to create a strong foundation in Science and research. Therefore most students in IISER's opt for PhD's and because of our well designed curriculum and reputed institute it makes it significantly easier to get doctorate positions in prestigious institutes not only in India but all over the world. Placements: In recent year(2023) , almost 90% of students were placed and many of them were placed internationally of PhD offers. The highest package for the bs ms physics was approx 85+LPA and the lowest was 6LPA. Companies offers - Amazon, Google etc. From 3 or 4 year you get to start your internship for the practical knowledge and that too is very good.

Placements: General students opt for higher studies globally, mostly in research-oriented colleges. Our college has a placement cell. A few students registered as most prefer pursuing higher education and research.

Placements: Placement in the IISER Bhopal is not that good. Only a few people get placement from IISER. Basically, this college is known for basic science learning, where you learn the core of any subject. Some placements students get are usually from Dr Reddy's lab and the Ajim Premji Foundation. An Iiser graduate student's Ph.D. is a very good option. Students usually do a Ph.D. after passing out of college.

Placements: Most of them opt for higher studies here or abroad. Rest are recruited in pharmaceutical companies etc. The course is interdisciplinary where you choose a major in the third year and graduate with that subject of your choice. This is why not many placements happen here but those who do get a job happens to bag a package which varies.

Placements: Most of the students like to study further. They do PhD abroad. This is a research institute. Hence most of the students like to do PhD. No one finds a job after just completing this course. Then after PhD, they prefer to be a professor, researcher or a lecturer. Every student does an internship during their academic year to help the professor in their research work.

Placements: Join this college if you want a future in the research field. Don't join this college if you want to earn a lot of money. You will definitely earn a decent amount, and it won't be as high as Google or Facebook offer salary package. At present, the college does not provide many placements. There is a placement cell, but they aren't able to invite many companies. Placements are provided mostly for physics and ECS people or in the management sector, etc.
