Best research Institute in the world.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful, well-qualified, and with the best knowledge. The teaching quality is very good, and they provide extra time after the class for doubt sessions. The course curriculum for mathematics is such that it focuses on developing skills rather than just learning.

Professional behavior of Dr. Rajendra Kurapati of IISER TVM.

Faculty: The professors are knowledgeable but the teaching quality depends on each professor. Some are good and some are not. If you want to pursue pure science, then this place is very good and has a good curriculum. I don't think it makes a student industry-ready, but it prepares them for Ph.D. applications. The exams are extremely competitive and students pass with a D grade. Depending on the course, the number of students who didn't pass could be around 20% for the toughest to 4% for the least tough...

Professors are really nice, they are well qualified and provide the best knowledge.

Faculty: I have a clear picture of what I want to pursue in the future. I really want to do research and that in chemistry. Choosing an MSc is the starting point of my career. And the course work is really good and the majority of that is relevant for GATE and CSIR NET also. Faculty-student ratio is good; we have a nice number of faculty (around 50) in the school of chemistry. The majority of the faculty have postdocs in their respective fields, and they are, no doubt, well qualified for the papers they ...

This is a good institute if you are interested in research.

Faculty: Course Curriculum Overview: This is my favorite subject. There are students from every corner of India; some are from the north and some are from the south. Some are from the far east and some are from the west. The student-teacher ratio is good at 45:1. The faculty members are qualified, and some hold doctorate degrees in their subjects. This is a 2-year course of 4 semesters and the exam level is between medium and hard.

The natural beauty, greenery, culture, and people are very good.

Faculty: Course Curriculum Overview: I chose the course since I am really interested in science and related studies. Faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable. There are two exams conducted in each semester: a mid-semester and an end-semester. Both of these exams are held as per the academic calendar. Their results are also released quickly. Generally, exams are difficult and the questions are above average, but the grading is relatively low, and there is a higher chance of getting passed.

Campus life is the best in our college.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and research-focused. It includes 1st year where you learn all the subjects, whatever your major will be. In the second year, you have to choose 3 pre-major subjects. These initial two years promote interdisciplinary studies during which you learn about all other sciences. In the 3rd and 4th years, you learn your core subjects of the major subject. The 5th year is dedicated to research via a masters thesis. Exams are very frequent. Each semester consist of quizz...

Campus of IISER, Thiruvananthapuram, is amazing.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good in the Chemistry Department. Every faculty member is fully focused on giving the best education to the students and inspiring them for research careers. The learning experience is good and depends on faculty-to-faculty. They inspire and motivate by narrating their life experiences. Every Professor is approachable and you can interact with them about the problems/academics that the students face in their transition phase.

IISER: Beautiful College for Pure Science Research.

Faculty: The faculty are top-class scientists and researchers in their own fields. The exams will be a different experience, and it is not the traditional way of thinking. Instead of mugging up topics, application-based questions are encouraged. This might seem new in the first year, but you will quickly adapt. The TAs and faculty are quite helpful. Seniors also do help. Since it is a fully residential campus, everyone who is free will lend you a hand. The course curriculum is relevant, and the teaching ...
