The institute is fine at its infrastructure with good academics.

Faculty: The faculty members at IIT Bhilai are great. They are always available to answer our questions during the day. They explain concepts well and clear our doubts. The curriculum is similar to other IITs. Exams are conducted smoothly, and each professor has their own way of conducting them. Semester exams are quite easy, and the pass percentage is 95%.

It is a great college I can say but it is just in its initial phase of achieving excellence.

Faculty: Faculty members are good enough and helpful; all teachers are Ph.D. graduates from different IITs or foreign universities. Teaching quality depends on course to course and teacher to teacher. Some are really great teachers, but some are not. The course curriculum is similar to that of other IITs, which is decent. Semester exams depend on professors, and their difficulties depend on the course; some courses are easy to do, and some courses are actually very difficult to pass. Pass percentage depe...

Good placements in 2021-2022.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Course curricula more consist of core electrical engineering and a small amount of electronics. Semester exams are not much difficult and the majority of the students pass the exam. So the passing percentage is above 90 percent.

A growing college with lots of developments in the future.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified. All are Masters in their fields and are busy with their research work. For the first year, the course is common for all. From the second year onwards, we are taught our core courses. Exams here are not very tough compared to JEE, but you will hardly get time to study because of the extracurricular activities. This makes it a difficult job for many students to manage academics. Saturdays and Sundays are off. Classes are from 8:30 to 12:30 (not always, we get br...

Satisfied with faculty, amazing infrastructure, best 3rd gen IIT, good for startups.

Faculty: The course curriculum at IIT Bhilai is up-to-date and covers all the important topics that we need to know. We also have elective courses, so we can customize our curriculum to fit our interests. This is especially helpful for those who want to think outside the box. The curriculum is designed to make us corporate-ready, and all the necessary details are taught in college. We have midsemester and end-of-semester exams, as well as surprise quizzes in between. The semester exams are moderately dif...

As of now, it is not worth coming to this college because of the below-average placements .

Faculty: The course syllabus for each course is relevant and the faculty members are also helpful and have done research in their particular field. The quality of teaching is good. There are 2 exams in each semester: one is midterm, and the second is end semester. And the pass percentage for each course depends on the course and the faculty. There is a credit system; each course offers specific credit and to graduate, we need a minimum 144 credits.

Emerging Technical Institute in India with a lot of scope in professional development.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and involved in national-level projects. Teachers provide comprehensive study material to students. New course curriculum has been implemented under NEP 2020, which makes students industry-ready. Exams are moderate to tough which judge our skills and knowledge.

Strong faculty and practical learning at IIT Bhilai with great campus life.

Faculty: At IIT Bhilai, the electrical engineering faculty members are highly skilled and encourage a research-based approach to teaching. The curriculum combines solid theory with hands-on experience, preparing students for the industry. While exams are tough, regular assessments help. Around 85-90% of students pass.

IIT Bhilai - More than expectations.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful as they are from IITs so they are highly qualified, you can check from the Chemistry department and other department official websites. The course is made more academically oriented but industry-based courses are also there like battery, solid state etc.

Good infrastructure, Average placements, Highly qualified faculty members and Good study system.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified Ph.D. holders, and the teaching quality in lectures and labs is excellent. The relevance of courses could be slightly better, as the first year covers general subjects not specific to each course. However, the remaining courses and labs are relevant and useful.

You can't expect 80 LPA to 1CR packages but you can expect 20–30 LPA.

Faculty: The exams conducted here are organized. The difficulty of the exam is decided by the respective professor. On an exam, papers are doable if you study one or two days prior to the exam. But I will suggest that you attend classes. You can change your branch in your first year but you have to get a 9+ CGPA in your first year to go into CSE or DSAI. Teachers have TA's that assist you with any problem and you can personally go to professors and meet them in person. Yes, if you work with professors on...

This college is good but if you are eligible for any 2nd or 1st grade IIT, don't come here.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and especially electrical faculty members are very good. Teacher assistance is also nice to students, as they are also M.Tech or PhD students. The course of study or plan of study is well maintained and there are 2 semesters in a year, with 2 midterms and 2 end terms.

B.Tech in electrical engineering from the IIT Bhilai.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable for our course. All the teachers are highly experienced and provide the best quality teaching to the students. Teachers offer both theoretical and experiential knowledge to the students. The course curriculum of the college is relevant and prepares the students to be industry-ready. Exams are not that easy to pass.

Review of M.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering).

Faculty: The faculty members here are highly knowledgeable and helpful to students. Here we have 2 faculty members, of whom 2 are communication faculty members. But as of right now, we don't have a VLSI professor, so for now, we have a guest faculty member from IIT Naya Raipur teaching us VLSI subjects. Exams are up to the mark and we do deal with a lot of practical experiments regarding our courses for any subject being taught here.

A short review of IIT Bhilai for all those who are confused regarding which IIT to choose.

Faculty: The teachers here are experienced and qualified since it is an IIT, and the professors here have experience teaching at other IITs as well. The semester exam is not that hard, provided you pay attention in class, and the IIT curriculum allows you to choose the electives of your choice, giving you flexibility in your course.
