We get single rooms for all 4 years so no problem in sharing room.

Faculty: It took two years, or four quarters, to finish the entire course. Electives were offered beginning in the third semester. The course content was both engaging and exhausting. With the support of lecturers and mentors, I was able to master differential analysis over time. The class size was restricted to a minimum of 40-50 students, which improved the experience in the class. For our practice, we were also given weekly homework. The course fee was INR 35,000 per year.

The college is in a serene location with a lot of greenery and mountains.

Faculty: Almost all the faculty members I’ve learned from are highly talented, ensuring every student participates in the lectures. The PDP lectures are also excellent and very helpful for building confidence.

An honest review from the inside of IIT BBS.

Faculty: The curriculum is not up-to-date. One has to prepare on their own to secure decent internships and placements. The faculty are quite helpful and cooperative. Semester exams mainly concentrate on understanding and application ability. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Professors are highly educated, knowledgeable and student-friendly.

One of the best IIT of India.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and supportive. Teaching quality is also good; this course is curriculum-relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is high, but the passing percentage is also high. Teaching quality is also one of the best in this college.

Really good college with lots of scope to become better.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. I find that the teacher always leads with the speed of the slowest students and helps everyone learn. The semester exams are challenging enough because it is an IIT, but the professors mark it in their own way and set paper according to the need of the course (if it's mostly theoretical or practical elements or research elements, etc.).

Not-so-good placements happening right now; the existing infrastructure is good.

Faculty: IIT Bhubaneswar offers a strong curriculum that covers various disciplines, and the faculty has Ph.D. qualifications. Regular feedback on ongoing courses and faculty will be taken from students. Exams will be conducted twice in a semester. One semester approximately goes on for 4 months; two months into the semester, students will have to take mid-semester exams. At the end of the semester, the end-semester exams will be conducted.

Here, labs are very good, and you will get every instrument to do your research work.

Really good but could be better.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and are really knowledgeable. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, some teach really well but some don't. The curriculum is relevant to some extent, everything is covered from the basics. The students are made industry ready for the most part. Some changes are also brought by the professor teaching the course. The difficult of exams varies with the course and the teacher. Most exams are of moderate difficult and nearly 90% of students pass the ex...

The amazing campus life of an IITian.

Faculty: The faculty members of this institute are just top-notch. All have postdoctoral degrees from various reputed universities across the globe and are very helpful in times of need. The course curriculum is completely aligned to the latest industry requirements. But since each one is better than the other, there is a lot of competition during semester exams, which are indeed very hard. But after consistently studying, one can easily score in these exams.

Outstanding infrastructure and faculty.

Faculty: The engineering faculty of IIT has highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful teachers, providing excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is highly relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging but fair, with a high pass percentage.

Great campus atmosphere and hostels. Above average placements (Not upto the IIT standards recently).

Faculty: The curriculum is pretty standard for metallurgy like any other IIT, but there are some additional courses here in our college. The faculty is very well versed and experienced in the field. The quality of teaching is also good. But, our branch has many subjects, so in each semester, we mostly have at least one assignment or test or exam almost every week. The semester exams in the college are difficult but it depends on the instructor and varies from course to course.

Campus is a huge and is spread across 994 acres of land and it is developing really well.

Faculty: Professors over here are really helping and friendly and they guide us well. Curriculum is well structured and is also getting better year by year. The curriculum makes us ready for our career. The difficult exams are as per the IIT tag and it is a good experience.

Review of IIT Bhuvneshwar.

Faculty: The faculty members at our institute are highly qualified and supportive, fostering a positive academic atmosphere. They encourage students to engage in research activities, particularly in technical fields, for those inclined towards deeper exploration. The curriculum is oriented towards research-oriented learning and also prepares students well for careers in industries. While exams may be challenging, diligent attendance and focused study habits typically lead to good academic performance.

Good infrastructure and faculty members.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful in interacting with students individually and solving their doubts. Our semester exams are like it depends on the professor. Some professors give good grades, while others are too strict and may even fail some of the students if they don't get as many marks as expected.

My B.Tech. life experience.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are so helpful and qualified; they are also too interactive with us, leaving about those old professors who are stubborn, and the course curriculum is so relevant and good that it makes the students more engaged, which increases our interest in learning new things.
