We get single rooms for all 4 years so no problem in sharing room.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides single occupancy, which means that each room is occupied by only one person. Each room has one bed, one chair, one table, one fan, one tubelight, three sockets, and a balcony with a great view. The hostel is provided along with admission to any course, and the mess food is good most of the time.

The college is in a serene location with a lot of greenery and mountains.

Infrastructure: There are three annual fests: Alma Fiesta, the socio-cultural fest; Wissenaire, the tech fest; and the Entrepreneurship Fest. These take place in March each year, with students from all colleges in Bhubaneswar attending. Each fest includes a DJ night featuring popular artists.

An honest review from the inside of IIT BBS.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities are improving gradually. At present, there are a library, an auditorium, lecture hall complexes, a student activity center, department buildings, a shopping complex, two Nescafé's, basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton courts and a table tennis play area. Hostel staff are not cooperative and mess food is the worst. There are very few food alternatives available on campus.

One of the best IIT of India.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure amenities are steadily getting better. There are currently two Nescafes: a commercial center, an auditorium, lecture hall complexes, a student activity center, basketball, volleyball, soccer, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, and a table tennis play area. The worst food is the mess, and the hostel staff is quite obstinate. There aren't plenty of choices for eating on campus.

Really good college with lots of scope to become better.

Infrastructure: For my course, we have a separate building where the classes and labs happen. The labs are very intuitive and very fun. All the important machines are kept. The mess is good compared to mess at other colleges. We have single occupancy rooms with LAN and proper room cleaning once a week.

Not-so-good placements happening right now; the existing infrastructure is good.

Infrastructure: Hostels are nice and neatly maintained and everything. The mess food is bad, the quality of food is average, but the taste is not good. We have to depend on pickles and other non-perishable food. The campus is nice, but there are not many large trees, which causes the heatwaves to turn worse in summer.

Here, labs are very good, and you will get every instrument to do your research work.

Infrastructure: It is compulsory for all students to reside within the IIT campus. The rooms are single accommodations, and for students opting for post-graduation, there are Sangam hostels where they can stay with their spouse. The hostel charges are minimal, and the Mess charges are 18,000 rupees for each semester. The room has a fan, a table, a chair, and a bed with a small balcony and small windows. The room also has a cupboard with enough storage. Hostel Fee: INR 30,000 per year.

Really good but could be better.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch. We have nearly every teach and machinery required. The department is air-conditioned with Wi-Fi facilities. The labs have nearly every apparatus required. Classrooms are top notch with the new Pushpagiri buildings with Wi-Fi, projectors etc. The library is also really good with nearly all the books and great seating arrangements. The reading room is open 24x7 during exams. The hostels are really good with single rooms for everyone. Each room has a light, fan B.Ed...

The amazing campus life of an IITian.

Infrastructure: Since it is a second-generation IIT, the infrastructure is still under development. The campus has completed the second phase of its infrastructure development and the final phase of development is about to begin soon. But most of the lecture halls, labs, gardens, etc. have been completed. However, the hostel facilities are just top-notch, being the best among all IITs. Everyone is allocated a room of single occupancy. The mess food is also regularly monitored by the authorities, which ensures t...

Infrastructure: Our department School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has all the infrastructure required including classes and classrooms with Computers, AC, Visitors Lounge and Research Room for studying or group discussions, meeting room, seminar room, etc. Coming to the hostel, the hostels are very well maintained and are above standard across India. Review of IIT Bhuvneshwar.

Infrastructure: Currently, the hostel fee stands at 18000 rupees. Each student is provided with a single room furnished with essential items such as a study table, chair, B.Ed. mattress, and pillow. However, additional items like bedding need to be purchased independently, although they are also available for purchase within the institute. The quality of food provided is mediocre, with limited options available on campus for alternative dining.

Good infrastructure and faculty members.

Infrastructure: For every individual student, they are providing individual rooms, and in hostel itself, we have indoor games like caballo, chess, table tennis, etc. And outdoor games like badminton, volleyball, etc. And we have a gym facility in the hostel itself and a mini library where our seniors books used to be kept for reference by juniors. Course-wise, we have good lab facilities and our new lecture hall complex buildings are way too comfortable.

My B.Tech. life experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good as this is a second-generation IIT, so all the infrastructure is updated, and this looks so cool. Coming to the hostels, these were the best UG hostels I had ever seen, with Wi-Fi, a canteen, sports inside the hostels. Everything was so good.
