Good infrastructure with a charming weather.

Placements: For B.Tech students, placements are quite good and they get opportunities for internships in their core domain and from foreign companies. For MS students, internships will be offered through references. Companies like Texas Instruments, Nvidia, TCS, and Qualcomm visited this year for placements offering internships and full-time positions with decent packages. This year, as of December 2024, the highest package was 45 LPA from California and 36 LPA offered from Texas.

Infrastructure: It has the best infrastructure and hostel facilities. 24/7 Wi-Fi will be provided, and well-furnished classrooms and labs will have reading room facilities that will be open 24/7 for reading purposes. The quality of food is the best among all the IITs. As per reviews taken from other students who visited different IIT campuses, IIT Dharwad food is the best.

Faculty: Teachers are really good, helpful, motivating enough, and have good reach in industries. Many courses will be offered and one can choose according to their area of interest. Exams will be difficult but if one is consistent in their studies, they can easily get good marks .

Other: You will enjoy so many fests and events organized by different clubs like cultural, technical, financial, sports, etc. It has a beautiful campus with charming weather.
