Placements: The placements were very good but were mostly focused on the Computer Science domain. The maximum package was in the same range as other IITs for my batch and my senior batch. All the students who opted for placements got placed. The role offered were mostly technical ones, mostly comprising of computer Science domain.
Placements: Placements were quite good this year. In CSE students had offers from various eminent companies like Microsoft, DeShaw, Arcesium, Uber Tesco, Amazon. One of our students got placed in Codenation with annual salary > 30lpa. Almost everyone got placed with an overall average of 15 lacs In EE and ME, students had offers from PSUs like ISRO and HPCL this year, Other than that we had Intel, L&T, Bharat Seats, Bharat Forge, Mahindra. Students also had offers from non core companies like Futures first ...
Placements: Placements for the year 2017-18 have been 90% with overall average as 10 LPA and the highest package was 33 LPA ( domestic) and 0.6 million yen both bagged by can guys the average package of mechanical is 13.5 LPA for ee it is 20 LPA. For CE and MEMS nil.
Placements: Good number of placements of seniors. Average salary offered is INR 13,00,000. Some great companies like ISRO, DRDO, Bharat Petroleum, etc. Visited and offered good number of seats to students for placements. Around 70% of applicants got internship from college. The highest stipend offered n internship is INR 2,50,000. Yes, there is a placement cell doing its duty amazingly and helping students get their dream jobs effectively.
Placements: As our batch is the second batch of civil engineering as well I'm in first year, so no placements of our branch is done. Yes we have a placement cell. If we talk about placement of other branches, they are quite good. This year average salary is something about 15-16 Lacs with the highest package of 36.5 Lacs rupees.
Placements: As I am a first-year student so I know a very little about placements in this college, but I heard from the seniors that those who maintain their CPI above 7 get their intern easily in the third year and get placed in the final year. The placement percentage is about 88-92%, and it increases per year.
Placements: Placements are good enough. Really good especially in case of CSE department. There are only five branches of the college, of which two branches have never experienced their placements (as they are newly opened). It is hard to predict their future statistics. Compared to other local colleges, it is still good.
Placements: This year in the first placement season, so far around 30 students. From CSE branch, got placements with most of them getting more than 30 lacs per annum packages, 35.5 lacs per annum is the highest package offered till now. Last year, a guy from electrical engineering branch got 45 lacs per annum which is the highest package of the year. In 2014, a student had got 1.4 crores per annum package from Google.
Placements: The placements of computer science students in my college are excellent. Our placements cell has tie-ups with esteemed companies like Microsoft, De-Shaw, Goldman Sachs, CodeNation, Directi, Arcesium, Amazon, Morgan Stanley and many more. Since our college has a very nice coding culture (IIT, Indore has represented India 3 times in ACM ICPC World Finals), companies mostly look for the roles of developers and programmers. Every year, the highest salary is always more than 40 lakh CTC. Also, for in...
Placements: It is the best college for placements. Almost 60-70% of the students got placed per year in each batch. Various companies visited our college for the placements. Many students are placed in various companies. The salary package offered is also good. Various companies also offered a good salary package.
Placements: Placements for computer science students were good, but the placements for electrical and mechanical students were very bad this year. Mechanical students are placed at a very low package, though placements last year were better than this. There were only two good companies that came to hire mechanical students. One was ISRO and the other was BPCL.
Placements: Placements of the computer science department were good. Almost everyone got placed. The highest international salary offered was 90000$ whereas domestic was 25 lakhs. Companies which visited this year were BPCL, ISRO, Future First, Stranded Life Sciences, Infosys, Samsung, Reliance Jio, Morgan Stanley, and Book Show. Some students also got pre-placement offers from Amazon and Microsoft. All the students who applied for internship got it. The placements of other two branch [ EE and ME] were not ...
Placements: The highest domestic placement this year is 25 lakh and international is 90000. 70% of the students in BTech are placed till now this year. Lowest salary offered is 5 lakhs by Bharat Forge. 4 students are placed in ISRO, 7 got selected in BPCL, 2 in Amazon, 2 people in Microsoft and 4 in Google (off campus). Highest salary of 25 lakh was offered by Bookmyshow and Morgan Stanley. Almost all the students who applied got internships this year.
MY college is nice. We can say that IIT Indore is a pretty good place .it is well rounded. AND the most important thing is the people or the students studying in the college are good and their behavior is also good. Faculties are also good and they have deep knowledge about their subject. Test are also conducted on the regular basis. Attendance is not very strict as the faculties or students pretend. The college has comfortable classrooms. Classes are conducted as per scheduled. The crowd is als...
This place is the best for the research work, especially in the field of computer science. They have a highly experienced faculty, advance laboratories and a large central library. Good sources for extracurricular activities and food is also good. In all, it is the best college with a nominal fees. And of course, IIT tag is a plus.
IIT Indore is an excellent academy for self-development which provides great learning environment. Campus (can't exactly say IIT-I has campus owing to lethargic Govt.) is in bits and pieces. The only miss is that it lacks a campus life. Apart from that, this institute is always recommended.
Placements: One review says that the placement rate for BTech is 89.76% and the average package is INR 25.45 LPA. The highest package offered was INR 68 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Accenture, and Deloitte. IIT Indore is known for its research facilities and inter-disciplinary academic programs. In 2021, NIRF ranked IIT Indore 13th in engineering and 30th in the overall category.
Placements: Approximately 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA, the minimum salary package offered is 8 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 22 LPA. Companies which visit here are Amazon, Microsoft, etc. The highest salary package offered was given by Microsoft. Most of the students from the computer science department are hired.
Placements: Mostly there is no preference for this course because this was a new course in our college. For placements, we get good companies for this course. Around 30% of the students got placed from college because this is a new branch. The first batch of the course was passed out in this year.
Placements: I am from a mechanical engineering course. I don't know much about placement offers. But there are a few chances to get placed in core companies. For placements, you should be M.Tech qualified, and then chance will increase. For non-core placements, there are some good offers.
