IIT Jammu JAM Cutoff 2024 is out for Round 2. The most competitive course as per the Cutoff was M.Sc in Chemistry, with a closing rank of 705. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff rank for M.Sc in Chemistry is 1032. 

If the Cutoff score is more than 705, there is no scope for admission to M.Sc in Chemistry in any other IIT. 

The total tuition fee for IIT Jammu MSc is INR 26,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The fee is valid for two years of the MSc programme. Aspirants have to pay the admission fee in the start once the selection process is over.

Candidates seeking admission to BTech at IIT Jammu are expected to appear in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and further go through JoSAA counselling to secure admission. Getting admission only on the basis of JEE Main score, however, is not possible. For MTech, admission is subject to GATE score followed by COAP counselling. For PhD and E-MTech, however, admission is written test and interview-based (conducted by the institute). The application process for a few popular courses is completely online. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

Admission to the BTech course offered at IIIT Guwahati is entrance-based. Students need to appear and clear JEE Main exam to secure their seat at the institute. JEE Main 2025 application fee is INR 1000 for unreserved category students and INR 800 for reserved category and female candidates. Students need to pay the fee at the time of filling out the application form to complete the registration. The fee structure of Dual Degree in technology & Management offered by IIM Jammu in collaboration with IIT Jammu is mentioned below:

• For initial four-years of BTech, the tuition fees will be according to the fee structure of IIT Jammu BTech, that is, INR 8 lakh
• For the remaining two-years of MBA, candidate will be charged according to the MBA fee structure of IIM Jammu. Hence, the tuition fee for MBA is INR 10.50 lakh
• Therefore, the total tuition fees for six-year dual degree in Technology and Management is INR 18.50 lakh.

BTech at IIT Jammu is available across seven specialisations. IIT Jammu's UG courses include 20% seats (category wise) for IIT Jammu + IIM Jammu dual degree program (four-year BTech of IIT Jammu and two-year MBA of IIM Jammu). The transition to IIM Jammu MBA is to be opted by the end of the third year of the IIT Jammu BTech course. This is a direct transition to IIM Jammu MBA programme that too without CAT and is subject to having a minimum CGPA of 7.0 in the BTech course. All these specialisations are as follows:
