IIT Mandi BTech admission is entirely entrance-based. Aspirants need to appear for the JEE Main exam, secure a valid rank and become eligible for JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who secure a valid rank in JEE Advanced need to participate in JoSAA Counselling for seat allotment. Additionally, rank and cut-off of JEE Advanced score decide the admission status of a student.

The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 8 lakh. However, this information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Additionally, canidates have to pay for hostel fee ane one-time payable charges of INR 22,000.

Yes, the institute offers a four-year integrated BTech-MTech course. The dual degree course is offered in only one specialisation, i.e., Bioengineering. Admission to this course is also done through JEE Advanced score, followed by JoSAA counselling. There are a total of 28 seats available for this course at IIT Mandi.

IIT Mandi BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 2869 and, 15119 for the General AII India category students. For last year, the closing rank for Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Bioengineering was 15216 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology.
