Life in IIT Guwahati.
Placements: Placements at IIT are always good, but in recent times, a recession has arrived. I think that in 3 years, we will get PPOs and job offers. I don't know much about the companies and don't have official placement data, but the highest package was 2.4 CPA, with 73 percent placed. I want to do a job.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is very amazing. I have my hostel mates who help me very much throughout my studies as well as in fun. Even when I am sick, they took me to the hospital. A bed table is provided to you at the start. The mess at IIT Guwahati is very good; I would rate it 8/10. Registration for the hostel is allotted randomly, and there are 13 hostels at IIT Guwahati.
Faculty: Yes. In the first year, all my professors are from international universities. The faculty-to-student ratio is different in the first year compared to the second year. In the first year, in one class, there are approximately 400 students, one professor, and three TAs. In the second year, there are 90 students, one professor, and one TA. Some faculty members are really good in the way they teach, but others are not, so we have to refer to YouTube. I haven't interacted with any teachers offline, but in my emails, I mostly talk to professors.
Other: I am rating 10/10 for infrastructure in all IITs, no doubt. Campus life is very unique and good, especially in the hostel with hostelmates. The annual fest is Alcheringa, and the technical fest is Techniche, which are held in February and September. I haven't issued any books yet; I mainly learn from books only. Sports facilities are extremely good. Yes, there are many clubs and social groups that help people.

Reviewing only Northeastern IIT (Guwahati).
Placements: Around 90 to 95% of students were placed in my course. The highest CTC and the lowest CTC range from nearly 60 LPA to 12 LPA respectively for the ECE course. Top recruiters include Amazon, Google, Facebook, Uber, IBM, BCG, WorldQuant, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, etc.
Infrastructure: IITG is known for its world-class infrastructure. Class lecture halls, labs, and classrooms. 24x7 LAN connection in hostels and library. Recently, there is access to outdoor Wi-Fi across the whole campus. Sports facilities, a gym, music room, and TV room are present in every hostel along with a central facility for each.
Faculty: Professors are, no doubt, well-qualified. Semester exams are really challenging and demand great dedication. Their curriculum is very rigorous, as can be expected from any other IIT. The faculty are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and also easily approachable.
Other: I chose the course as it was the best fit for my CRL of 1597 in JEE 2023. ECE is one of the circuital branches, and being in a primary IIT, it was on my priority list. The annual fest Alcheringa is one of the largest in the whole of Northeast India.

IIT Guwahati campus review.
Placements: Around 98% of people were placed from my course. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm, etc. Around 50% got internships from campus and the top roles offered are software development, consulting, and data analyst roles. In the core also, there are so many roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in the departments like lab equipment is good. Classrooms, libraries, and other college buildings are fully equipped with Wi-Fi and classrooms also have projector facilities. About the facilities in my hostel, the food is a bit average but the sports and games are good.
Faculty: I think teachers are knowledgeable, but teaching is not that good. They won't increase interest in the course I think for my course, the curriculum is relevant but for Computer Science, they won't make us industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult.

Utterly satisfied with the infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: Nearly 95 percent of students who applied for placements got placed in my course. The highest package was INR 60 lacs, and the lowest was INR 7 lacs. Recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, JP Morgan, and many other popular companies participated. The top roles offered in my course are telecom engineer, data scientist, software developer, and many more.
Infrastructure: There is a central library, and it has large infrastructure, like many books available and proper seating arranged with switch boards and air conditioning. It is so peaceful. Wi-fi is also provided by the college within the college premises, and you have to be a student or a working member of IITG in order to access the wi-fi. Facilities provided in hostels are really good, except for the fact that there is no AC in the rooms, but you do not need it except in the months of July and September. The quality of the food is really good, and they keep it so hygienic and clean, and they serve a variety of healthy foods. There is a canteen in each and every hostel, and they provide fruits, juices, shakes, fast foods, and many more. There is a hospital too, and it is free of charge for every student and working member. There are many kinds of sports and clubs that you can join, like hockey, basketball, volleyball, football, squash, badminton, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and they explain things to us through slides and share them with our respective emails so that we can easily refer to them whenever we need them. They are so helpful for us. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, helps the students understand how hard they have to work, and provides a competitive environment. The semester exams are quite difficult, but every time you have to work much harder, and the pass marks are based on all the students who have written the exam, as it is a relatively grading pass mark that always varies.
Other: I have chosen this course because it deals with both software and hardware, and I am interested, so I decided to take it. There are many events conducted here by many clubs. There are technical and cultural fests happening each and every year.
