Placements: Here, it is the oldest college in Asia. It has immense potential for placements. On average there are above 80% of placements in circuital branches (on campus). About 50% of students got placed in core branches. It is about that with the help of government jobs for core branches, we will be there in the comfort of life.

Placements: Regarding placements, the department boasts a nearly 100% placement rate annually. The average salary package offered is around INR 14.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is INR 1.54 crore. These statistics highlight the departments strong industry connections, and the high demand for its graduates.

Placements: Out of 174 students, nearly 100 get placed every year. This information was not provided to us. Companies such as Google Silicon Engineering, Jaguar, and PWC recruit from our batch. Around 60% of students are placed in companies like Google Silicon Engineering, Jaguar, PWC, Myntra, etc. The average salary package offered for an electrical engineering student is about 20 LPA.

Placements: 90% students got placed with an average package of 24 LPA. The highest package was offered around 40 LPA and the lowest around 12 LPA. ONGC, Schlumberger, Amazon, ICICI Bank, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, and American Express are top recruiters. 80% students got an internship, and for some, it got converted into PPOs. Data Scientists, SDE, Core roles were offered along with others.

Placements: Placements are fair enough at IIT Roorkee. If you maintain a CGPA greater than 7, it would be sure that you will be placed. Although most of the students get PPO from companies where they have done internships. For internships, there are fewer companies comparatively. In my batch of chemical engineering, out of 120, only 26 students got internships. While for higher branches, opportunities are at speak.

Placements: There are 1600 students in our batch and from that, only 800,000 have been placed till now. The highest package is 1.5 crores, the lowest is 6 lakhs, and the average package is 25 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Also, like placements, only 50% of student got internships in many big and small companies. The top roles offered in our course are software development engineering, hardware engineering, data science, and data analysis.
