NIRF 2024 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2024 rankings, IIT Guwahati ranks #7 under the category 'Engineering'.

The GATE 2025 admit cards have been released for admission to the MTech course. Registered candidates can log in and download their admit cards from the official website. The GATE 2025 exam is to be held on Feb 1, Feb 2, Feb 15, and Feb 16, 2025.

MBA 2025 (July session) applications are open, and the last date to apply is Feb 8, 2025. Further, the selection process will start in Mar 2025.
The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam for IIT Guwahati admission to BE/BTech course is ongoing till Jan 29, 2025. For the BArch and BPlan courses, the exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 30, 2025.

Q: Can I get admission in IIT Guwahati in BTech if my JEE Advanced rank is between 5000 and 10000?

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering is 5959 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this.
