Placements: Placements are totally based upon the students and the caliber, the potential they have. College provides great opportunities to students to get succeeded in their careers. Placement cell is there to help students to fetch good jobs. One had to register in that to be a part of placement cell, only then one can avail the opportunities. Interactions with senior was not too much. Opportunity were there but only few in numbers. Not everyone can get the benefit of it.
Placements: Since my course doesn't require any placements, I don't know about it exactly. But, I have observed that the placement cell of the college is very active and always provides internship opportunities for the students. I don't know the exact figures, but the placements were quite good for B.Com (Hons) students.
Placements: Placement opportunities provided in the college are average. IP has an active placement cell in the college, but companies mainly visit for B.com honours and economics honours graduates. There are some good companies that visit the college like Deloitte and KPMG, but most of the companies offer an average package of 3.50-4 LPA.
Placements: Placement were good from the college. 20 percent students of my batch got selected and placed in the high profile companies. I could not say about the highest but the lowest salary the companies offered at that time was around 20k. The posts offered to the students were kind of project associates, software engineer, etc. Internship were not provided by the college.
Placements: College provide various platform's to student's who are seeking for internship. Infact student's of my department that is human development and family empowerment did internship in various NGO's on which they were evaluated and it was complousary. Placement cell JEET work very hard to get good companies to the college. Companies like Doctor 24*7, Dyson, Urbanclap, The Oberio group etc. Visited and got 50% of students placed. For all departments job opportunities are available.
Placements: There are only a few placements, and just content writer roles are offered to the placed students. I'm dissatisfied with the placements. And also, I don't want to take up those profiles. The placement team in the college wasn't much active. Our batch suffered a lot, as the college didn't provide placement opportunities.
Placements: The college has a placement cell which provides various opportunities to the students. It gives exposure, especially to students who are not very outspoken. The students are offered placement opportunities from various reputed companies during my tenure. Overall, the placement cell is doing good. But, they need to provide a little more opportunities for the students of other branches than commerce.
Placements: I think 3 or 4 candidates were selected in the campus placement from IPCW. Talking about the placements of our college, the college provides very good placements to the deserving candidates. But think the college placement cell needs to be pushed more from the college management so that they can also attract good companies for the college girls. I also think there should be a proper counselling given to the girls of the college to provide the knowledge about the current situation of the placemen...
Placements: Currently, I am in the final year, so I have seen two senior batches. In 2018 batch, 175 students out of 230 got placed on the campus placements. In 2017 batch, 160 students out of 226 got placed in the campus placements. Thus, we can see that the average placement is about 76%. There is a placement cell named JEET in the college.
Placements: I was not much engaged in placement cell activities as my interest was more in pursuing masters in History after graduation. One needs to complete the criteria of having minimum 66.66% of attendance to apply for placements. If a student doesn't have at least this percentage of attendance, one can not appear for the placements. Workshops are also conducted in order to make people understand the concepts etc. After that, students go ahead with their choice of companies, etc. The college offers les...
Placements: The college provides the placement opportunities, and even some brilliant students get the chance to go abroad for internships. There is a placement cell which provides us with the opportunity to work with different companies, and they reform our personality. We can even work with NGO.
Placements: I am yet to graduate, but from what I've heard from my seniors, our placements are really helpful. I don't know much about our college placements, but because of the placement cell, we do get regularly updated about new internships, jobs and opportunities that are available. Companies like HUL, SAP Labs, Google, etc. visited our campus. Jobs related to marketing, teaching and computers were majorly offered.
Placements: The placement cell is very active. They provide an ample amount of opportunities to students. It just only needs an opportunity takes the student to make use of all the internship opportunities very well. Grab the opportunity and do all paid and non paid internships.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell, and it provides placement and internship opportunities to the students. The college also organises many workshops which help for the development and growth of students. Companies mainly visit the campus to recruit the students of B.Com and economics courses.
Placements: In the last year our department got the maximum placement in the entire college, this year too placement cell of our college have recieved the maximum registration from B.A. programme. And I really trust our placement cell, they bring very variety of jobs and companies and the students get variety of opportunity.
Placements: Some of the students who were interested got placed in good companies with decent packages. They are earning in and around lacs, and the location is also good. The companies are also of good standard. Placements also depend on the discipline you have and how you present yourself.
Placements: Indraprastha College for Women has its placement cell named JEET, and it is very efficient and useful for the students who want to work after their graduation. They provide good placement opportunities to the students. Many good companies visit the college for placements.
Placements: Placements in the college were average. It was limited to certain departments only. There is a placement cell in the college, and it is active, but the companies which visit the campus doesn't offer high CTCs. I cannot recollect the data but not many students were offered placements. One of the girls in the college got the highest salary package of 11 LPA.
Placements: Our placement cell is not good. As per my knowledge till yet we didn't had good placements and placement for B.A. programme students is not available. The efforts are also less. The most disappointing thing is the companies do not come to pick B.A. programme students. They think is less than other departments student.
Placements: Many students have gone for higher studies and some have had internships. My senior batch had quite good placement opportunities. There is a separate placement cell which helps us get different kinds of opportunities. Also we have department wise placement cell representatives.
