My review on IERT (Allahabad).
Placements: The highest package offered in our college is 24 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. The top recruitment companies is TATA motors, TCS, Adani, Byju's, etc. About 44–45% of students got internship opportunities. The top roles offered in our course are IT consultant and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good only 1st year building are good. Facilities like Wi-Fi is available for us but the desk and chairs are not so good, except for the 1st year building. In few labs, equipment is also not working properly. Canteen food are also not good. Sports are organised every year.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, helpful, knowledgeable and well-qualified from reputable universities like IIT, NIT, MNNIT, etc. Teaching quality is also good; they also recommend best books for our study. semester exam level is moderate. passing percentage is about 50%. .
Other: Events and festivals are good. Scholarships are only for counseling students; they are difficult for direct admission students. Extracurricular activities are organised by our seniors and teachers, like Webathon, which is a coding event where we can improve and show our coding skills.

This college is considered affordable due to the reduced expenses.
Placements: Do not enroll in this institution for placements as there are only placements available in the CSE branch. Out of a total of 70 students, approximately 20 students secure placements. The highest package offered is 24 Lacs, while the average package ranges from 3-4 Lacs. Only a small number of students from other branches manage to secure placements. The primary companies that visit for placements are TCS and Whirlpool.
Infrastructure: The quality of the infrastructures leaves much to be desired. The entire campus lacks Wi-Fi facilities, which is a significant drawback. While the classrooms are satisfactory for first-year students, they deteriorate in quality after the first year. The hostel conditions are extremely poor, and the cost of staying there is also exorbitant. Additionally, the mess charges are unreasonably high. Furthermore, the absence of a sports ground is a notable deficiency.
Faculty: Teachers possess excellent qualifications and are highly skilled in their respective fields. They exhibit great kindness and possess extensive experience. This course has the potential to shape you into a proficient engineer. By studying diligently, you will be eligible to appear for government examinations. The semester exams are conducted by the aktu board and are known to be challenging if one does not dedicate sufficient time to studying.
Other: I have selected this course due to my keen interest in the field of electrical engineering. However, if you are considering other branches apart from computer science and engineering, then this college may not be the right choice for you. Unfortunately, there are no events or parties specifically organized for B.Tech students, and there is a lack of extracurricular activities as well.

Good for students who prepare for further study or government jobs.
Placements: Many short-range companies come to take students, but probably fewer companies come here. Before four years ago, it was a popular college for placements, but now its response for placement is tending to zero. You are free to use your time for placement; your hard work will give you placement.
Infrastructure: Its average lab is good, but practice is bad; faculty are good. Hostels are not much better but average. If you are thinking about facilities, then it's not good, but if you want to live hostel life, it's the best. You can join the hostel in the first year to know about it.
Faculty: This is the best college for study purposes, i.e., semester or further exam preparation. Faculty are supportive; they respond to any problems students have and try to solve them, no matter how weak the student is. This college faculty will totally support you.
Other: You come here, and you will know if you are hardworking, then the college will respond to you.

Good faculty and infrastructure but poor placements.
Placements: Placement is not very good, the placement rate is only about seventy percent. Our seniors received job offers of different types from different sectors and the highest package offered was 7 LPA and average package stood at 5 LPA. The internships provided were satisfactory and not above par.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure and study facilities are excellent. The classrooms are provided with electricity and have very good ventilation, laboratories are also very useful. The college also provides hostel facilities to the students, but the hostel building is a bit outdated, however the mess is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and explain concepts simply so that students from various backgrounds can grasp them. As my college is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow, course curriculum makes the students industry ready. The passing percentage however is only 40%

If you have to prepare for government jobs and GATE exam then it is best.
Placements: Approximately 70 percent of the students have been successfully placed, with no student left behind in any subject. The top recruiting companies were LNT, Adani, and TCS. 20 percent of the students have secured placements. The course offers top roles that enable individuals to enhance their skills.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are all Ph.D. holders and have completed their M.Tech from prestigious institutions. However, the infrastructure lacks basic amenities such as Wi-Fi in classrooms. The university has a central library with a collection of 80,000 books. The hostel facilities are good, but the quality of food provided is subpar. Additionally, the canteen serves unhealthy food, and there is a lack of organized sports games.
Faculty: All teachers provide valuable assistance to students, possessing Ph.D. degrees in their respective subjects. Each teacher specializes in GATE examination preparation. The course curriculum is aligned with aktu and follows the most recent pattern. The semester exams are challenging, requiring a daily study commitment of 5 hours.
Other: I opted for electrical engineering as it aligns with my preparation for GATE examinations and government job requirements. The course emphasizes practical knowledge, which is beneficial for diploma students. However, there are no organized events or sports activities.
