Placements: MNNIT CSE overall placement rate is 95%. CSE placement recorded an impressive performance with the highest CTC of 81 LPA and the average base package stands at 27 LPA. CSE had a strong placement rate, with major recruiters such as Microsoft, Google, Sprinklr, and many more.

Infrastructure: At Minit, the hostel is well-equipped with essential facilities for students as well as learning and research. Modern classrooms with the setup of dedicated computer labs with the latest software and hardware configurations. The hostel is well-maintained with decent room quality and cleanliness.

Faculty: At Minit, professors are well-qualified, experts in different fields and technology. Semester exams are moderately challenging, encouraging understanding rather than rote learning. The pass percentage varies but generally high (65%), with support available for those who need it.

A student's view on his college: MNNIT Allahabad.

Placements: MNNIT Allahabad is a college famous for its placements. It is ranked 1st among all the NITs based on the average salary of all the branches combined. Placement and internship opportunities are really good here. This year, about 80% of the students got placed in my course, CSE, with the placement session still ongoing. In my course, the highest package offered was 72 LPA, whereas the average and median packages were 25 LPA and 24 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies for my course included Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Goldman Sachs, etc. About 30% of the students in my course secured internships in the aforementioned companies. Many of these internships later converted into Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) for the students. Top roles offered in my course are SDE-1.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Classrooms and hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi. The CSE department has a separate building where our lab classes are held. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped and air-conditioned. The central library is well-maintained; it contains thousands of books and is centrally air-conditioned. Regarding hostel facilities, in the first year, we get SVBH, which has 3/4 seating rooms. The rooms are spacious with attached study rooms, and three LAN ports are provided in each room for 24/7 fast internet connectivity. SVBH has several facilities like common rooms, an AC hall, a night canteen, a general store, a guest room, etc. The mess food quality is pretty good and is handled by the students of the hostel. In addition, we have several canteens and cafes inside the campus. For medical facilities, we have a dispensary on campus, and an ambulance is available 24/7 for emergency situations. Sports and games facilities are also good here; we have a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, badminton court, TT tables, an athletic ground, gymkhana ground, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members here are highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members hold PhDs. The teaching quality of most of the teachers is good, except for some. The course curriculum is quite relevant and prepares the students for the industry. Semester exams here are difficult, with a passing percentage of about 80%. However, the seniors are very helpful and provide us with important resources required for the examinations.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study computers and coding. The best thing about my course is the placements. The infrastructure of classrooms needs renovation. Extracurricular activities, events, and fests are great here. The campus crowd is excellent and highly competitive, as they have all excelled in the JEE examination to get in here. Scholarships are available on an income basis through different sources. Connectivity is not an issue here.

A Virtual Tour to MNNIT College with good placements but not that good infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 87.44% of the students get placed in my course. The highest CTC was 71.14 LPA and the average CTC was 28.38 LPA. The total number of companies visited was 432. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Adobe, Google, Flipkart, Morgan Stanley, and Microsoft.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our course are moderate in terms of Wi-Fi, desktops, and air conditioning. Our hostel is good in terms of infrastructure, but the quality of mess food is not good according to the feels of hostel rented accommodation and food provided.

Faculty: Some of our faculty members are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good, but some of them teach only for the sake of syllabus completion. The course curriculum is relevant for me. The semester exams for some of the courses are difficult, but some of them were easy and only a few students fail.

Other: I have chosen this course because it marks the highest placement percentage and package compared to other courses. The things I would like to improve for my course are practical study, which is required a lot, like real-world coding and interactions.

Honest review by a student of MNNIT Allahabad.

Placements: Generally, the percentage of students placed is around 85 to 90 percent of that student who have applied for on-campus placements. Till now the highest package was offered to CSE students, which was around 135 LPA (international) and 84 LPA (domestic) in 2023 batch and around 72 LPA in 2024 batch and placements season is on for 2024 pass out students currently. Placements are offered by top recruiting companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Goldman Sachs, etc. Internships are offered by same companies but the student getting internships are fewer, but students who are good at academics and have a CGPA greater than 8 and have good projects will get on-campus Internships very easily. Roles such as SDE, web developer, frontend, backend, etc. are offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is sufficient but not that modern, but it keeps on improving. Wifi is available for students in hostels as well as in colleges, and speed is around 90 mbps. Classrooms are good with AC. The library is available for students from morning 9am to evening 11:59 p.m., but in exam time they extend the timings. Quality is the best of hostel and mess food; however, sometimes it may feel boring. For medical issues, there is more than one ambulance, which helps students reach out to the hospital and come back to the hostel under timing restrictions, and guards are there to help you. There are canteens, bookshops, salons, and general stores available in the hostel itself; there is no need to worry about buying anything. There are many sports clubs arranged by the sports committee, and selection rounds are made to join a club.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified as PHDs, and some have research backgrounds abroad. They are very helpful and supportive in nature to help out the students in many academic issues. For teaching purposes, there are many labs and practical and tutorial classes to get a better understanding of the concepts and logic in the programming. Students who have an interest in gaining knowledge, learn from mistakes, and are ready to do hard work will be industry-ready for sure. For an industry-level understanding, there are many clubs, like startup clubs and ThinQbator clubs. The exams are not so tough to pass, but to get a better CGPA greater than 9.5 is very difficult, but it is not impossible.

Other: From the 12th grade, i have interest in coding and i became capable of getting this seat in college and I'm happy for that . pros of this course are that it is easier than other courses and it is much more logical and easy to understand. To improve the curriculum, i would have suggested getting more lab classes than the lectures and practicals. Events for the freshers are 'swagat' and annually 'culrav', 'avishkar', etc. Scholarships and loan facilities are available for students in the college itself.

Best placements among all the NITs and some IITs. Amazing placement in 2023.

Placements: Placements are amazing in this college. Several top companies like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Oracle, etc. recruit students. This year, the average package offered to B.Tech students was 17 LPA. While CSE branch was best in terms of placement with an average package of around 25 Lacs. About 60% of students in the CSE branch got placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not up to mark for this college. All classes are not air conditioned, and somewhere ACs are not working. Freshers have to stay in the SVBH hostel, which is newly built and is the best among all the hostels present here. Badminton courts and table tennis facilities are present inside the hostel. In the mess, you will get food that is above average in quality (north Indian dishes).
