Placements: As I am still pursuing the course, I am not yet aware of the entire percentage or placement process, but as I have gone for an internship from this course, the communication, the coordination, and mentoring were just hands down commendable. In the fourth year, schools do come for recruiting as per the information given by seniors. As BEL. Ed is a multidisciplinary course, the faculty members give a very great variety and at different time intervals in the course, give orientations and also give ...
Placements: Placements in this course are not all that up to the mark. Some small companies come, but students prefer not to give interviews because of the lower pay scale. Nestle came before on campus. Mostly small-scale or start-up companies come for placements. The average salary for a B.Sc. student would be below Rs. 20,000 per month. It is hard to get a placement after B.Sc, but you can get training or internships surely.
Placements: Placements for this course are not provided by the college itself. The top recruiters for food tech students are Nestle, Mondelez, Mother Dairy, and other food industries, we need to apply on our own. Roles offered are quality analyst, sensory scientist, etc.
Placements: My course is very niche in my college. Since my college is small, it doesn't have the facility for higher education, needed for my course thus those who passed out aren't job-ready to earn a package. The name suggests that the home econ department and even the education department, on the other hand, are very good, the Science courses are a bit weak though.
Placements: Placements take place through the internship fair organised by the Placement cell - Eminence. Welcoming startups and companies from different sectors. You can prepare your resume which will be a summary of all your accomplishments and then you can apply to the respective companies.
Placements: Our college does not offer good placements. There are placements for master courses but not for UG courses. The top recruiting company that visits our college to hire students from our course is Nestle. Our college offers a lot of courses like B.A. journalism, B.Sc, M.Sc in Home Science and also a lot of diploma courses.
Placements: The placement cell of IHE provides various internship opportunities to students. The placement cell is run by college students. Various startup companies provide internships that are unpaid and for 2-3 months. Internships are not related to the course, but they are related to the environment, teaching, NGO, marketing, content writing, etc. These are of no use to us, but they can help us to enhance our personality and build confidence.
Placements: In many departments offered by IHE, the placements provided are good. We get to interact with different companies, which gives us exposure to our academics. We have to give interviews and build our resumes to get good placements.
Placements: Placements are good but they can level it up a bit. If you have good scores you will definitely get placement in a good venture. Also as my passing year is 2024 I really can't tell you about placements anymore but what I have heard from my seniors is you had to be really active academic and personality development-wise.
Placements: Our college provides average placements and average salary packages. Most students opt for higher studies and not for a job. Those who have gone for jobs have got average placements and average packages. Students who score above 70% in their academics get internships and jobs in the companies if they have the skill which they are searching for. I am not sure about the salary packages offered by them since I went directly for higher studies.
Placements: Since there is a Covid-19 pandemic, there are not many placements for BEL.Ed, as the schools are also closed. Classes are being conducting online. About 3-4 students got placements from private schools and many other private companies. The average salary offered is around Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month.
Placements: About 80% of the students in our college got placements. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 5,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs 15,000. Top roles offered are production industry, healthcare industry, dietitian, and nutritionist.
Placements: No student was placed from my batch from the college. We could only attend college for one and a half year, and after that, our colleges were shut due to covid-19, and this also affected our placement drives. Due to this, no students from my batch got placed.
Placements: It is a small campus and with a bachelor degree in science, not a lot of jobs are available. The college has tie-ups with good companies. I am still a student of the college, and I am in my second year, so I cannot correctly say about the placements offered by the college.
Placements: The college provides many opportunities to work with different companies through internships. The placement cell of college is quite active in this regard. However, Masters is preferred for courses like microbiology. Students can learn from internships.
Placements: If students want to do a job after graduation, then they can try, but most of the opportunities will be available after a master's degree. So, in the case of food and nutrition field, students got the opportunity to work in companies like PepsiCo, Nestle, etc. For other fields also, opportunities are available, but it depends on us how much we are good in our particular field.
Placements: There wasn't a placement cell earlier however due to cumulative efforts of some students it is now active and tries to offer good placement opportunities. However, as it was still in it's initial phase therefore there wasn't much to offer to us this year as well.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges on all of the DU campuses. It is located near Hauz Khas. The total percentage of the students is around 85% in B.Sc. home science course. It offers all packages, not at the highest or the lowest cost but the same. The top roles that are mostly offered in this course are resource management, environmental science, fashion-related courses as well as communication skills.
Placements: Students who have above 70% of marks can get admission to this college. It depends on the cut off released by the college every year, and you should have a minimum of 65% of marks in your 12th class. This is a nice course, and you explore many things. But you can't get any placements from here. However, some internships are provided by our college, but there are no fixed placements.
