My college experience was very good.

Placements: Surely 70 percent of students got placed in our course. About the package, I will say that this year the highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. We have many top companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Microsoft, etc. Almost 60 to 70 percent got internships in different companies like Wipro, Accenture, etc. Roles that are offered in our course are software engineering, software testing, software development, data analytics, networking, and many more.

Infrastructure: Yes, the infrastructure of our college is great and excellent. It’s a very big campus, and many things are available, including Wi-Fi and internet connection. There is also a big central library where all kinds of books are available. Actually, I am not staying in the hostel, but as my friends say, the food in the mess is very bad. However, the canteen and cafeteria food are awesome. The medical facilities are also excellent, and sports and games are conducted every year. There is a badminton court, a tennis court, as well as a basketball court, football ground, and cricket ground.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified. They clear all our doubts, and the teaching quality is very good. It is relevant, depending on your skills and knowledge. Well, semester exams are not too easy and not too tough. And 40 percent is required to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I want to build my career in the software field. The best things in my course are the programming language Java and data analysis with Excel. It is awesome. I think if C programming language was taught first, it would be better. In the previous year, C programming was there, but now it has been changed. There are very few events in ITER. Also, our freshers' party was not conducted. But there are extracurricular activities like joining the dance club, singing club, photography, and videography club, etc.

College and facilities provided by the college are best.

Placements: It's our 5th semester, and till now, only 2-3 students are placed. Around 10 students have qualified for written exams. The highest salary package offered is 7-8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.7 LPA. Accenture and TCS are the top recruiting companies in our college. I don't think many of us have secured internships. Roles offered are tester and webpage designer.

Infrastructure: We have very good facilities provided by the university. Labs are well-maintained with fast internet connections and a computer system. Hostel have good infrastructure with staying provisions like Wi-Fi, laundry, etc. Food in the hostel is average. Medical facility on the campus is very good, with 24/7 emergency service available. There are good sports facilities like a badminton court, basketball court, and football court.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us. They are highly qualified and graduated from top universities like NIT and other government colleges. Teaching quality is above average. Course curriculum is designed in such a way that covers all the important technologies as per market needs. It makes us industry-ready with proper practice and real-world uses. Semester exams are quite difficult and we have to study hard to pass the exams. Pass percentage requires at least a 4 CGPA in every subject.

Other: The best thing about our course is that, in 3 years, we can learn all the latest technologies used in the industry and how to apply them in the real world. There are some events conducted on the campus, but the frequency of these events is very low.

Average college with above average placement.

Placements: In my course, about 40 to 50% of students get placed because many students don't want placement after BCA because it is not that good; they opt for MCA. 3.5 LPA was secured by 2 students in my course. I don't know the top recruiting company. There aren't many internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, my college is good and well maintained. Every classroom has AC and good benches and desks. The quality of food in the mess is not good and there is a newly built sports complex for playing badminton. Canteen food is better compared to the mess.

Faculty: The faculty is somewhat supportive and might help you if you ask. The course curriculum is relevant but the timing of exams is not good. You'll get to know you are having an exam one week prior to the exam. The semester exams are not that difficult; if you study a little hard, you can score good marks.

My experience in SOA University

Placements: In our course 60% eligible students are placed. In our college some criteria like 75% attendance and minimum 7 CGPA is required to qualify to attend interviews. In our BCA branch 7.5 LPA is highest package offered to students and lowest package is 3 LPA. There are many companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Oracle etc which recruit.

Infrastructure: Our college provides many courses like B-Tech, M-Tech, BCA,MCA, MSC etc. All departments have separate blocks and separate classes, lab for practical and one common central library are here in our campus. Hostel for both boys and girls are in the campus, for sports and games, cricket ground, basketball courts, volleyball courts are available in our campus and indoor sports area also here.

Faculty: The teacher are cooperative and helpful with students. They are qualified and well educated from good university in India. Teaching quality is good and they are also teach students for placement like pre placement classes. The semester exam is not too hard and the passing percentage is 30%.

Other: Our college organizes a fest every year in December month according to their academic calendar and they also organize DJ nights programs for students. In our college many students clubs are here. They also organize programs in college campus and college organizes SOA cup- sports activities in this event. All departments have separate team for every sport and competition between each teams.

Take a look on SOA University.

Placements: 91% of students get placed this year as there were many mass recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant with an average package of around 5 lakh. The highest package was offered by Microsoft. Around 90% of students got internships in IT consulting. Many companies visit, like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.; almost all our seniors got placement in good companies the previous year.

Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is quite good. Fully air-conditioned classrooms, an awesome library, and the amazing food that you can find. The hostel is quite spacious and bathrooms are clean. In hostel, one room is shared among 3 people; the room is quite spacious. Every person gets their own bed, cupboard and study table. We share a common bathroom, which is cleaned at least 3 times a day, so cleanliness is not an issue. The mess food needs a little improvement though. The campus is huge with a good parking space; there are fields for basketball, football, cricket and Kabaddi, and we also get WiFi and huge library with vast variety of books in it and the equipment in labs is good.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very good, helpful, supportive, experienced, and knowledgeable. They taught us well and provided proper notes. But the course curriculum was poor. It needs to be advanced so that it makes the overall development of a student and helps them to survive in the current situation of any organizations. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the university.
