Civil engineering life in JBIET and its overall review.
Placements: As civil engineers, we probably do not have more options for being placed. I give credit to my college, which is not that bad for campus selection. So I don't want to give full credit for that, but I can give an average rating for my college. Good faculty and a healthy atmosphere are there.  50% of students get placed in companies like UltraTech. Most packages are INR 6 LPA. Most people offered to work as junior engineers and site engineers.
Infrastructure: I simply give this five out of five stars because my college has all types of labs. Everything is available. Labs are provided with air conditioning. The labs are simply outstanding. Our college also has hostel facilities. They provide free Wi-Fi in the hostel. Our college also has medical facilities. And our college has a separate sports club in which sportsmen are encouraged.
Faculty: In JBET, teaching is not very good. There are many new teachers. They may have good knowledge, but without any experience, no one can be perfect. So I feel unsatisfied with the staff. The courses are relevant and based on civil engineering only. Passing a semester is not so hard if you study well. Pass percentage is -70–80%.
Other: I, myself, am a civil engineer. I chose this course for GATE qualification and also for IES. The best thing about my course is that it will never get canceled. I feel my college needs some better faculty. Not everyone needs to change, but a few do.

Good infrastructure and faculty in 2022.
Placements: 20% students get placed from my course. The highest package is 4 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, MAHINDRA, Ultratech, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the college but in hostel, they provide Wi-Fi. Classrooms and labs are extraordinary. Library is very peaceful and it has a lot of books which helpful in the library. They give a library card to every student. Sports activities are not much in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and they are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are friendly too. 4 years of this course makes the students industry ready. It is very difficult to pass in the exams.

From study point of view it's okay but you may disappointed because of less fests and events.
Placements: Every year the intake is around 30 to 40. The highest package for civil is around 4 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are HCL Collabera, Dexterity, ExcelR Edutech Pvt Ltd, Amazon, Mitsogo Technology, Sutherland Solution, Rinex Technologies, etc.
Infrastructure: Laboratories: surveying laboratory, strength of materials laboratory, fluid mechanics and hydraulic machinery laboratory, environmental engineering laboratory, geotechnical engineering laboratory, concrete technology laboratory, CADD laboratory, engineering geology laboratory, etc. are there. Facilities: library, sports, transport, student activity centre, hostel, canteen, etc. are there.
Faculty: Most of our faculty are experienced and good in knowledge and they have done their M.Tech. The quality of teaching is somehow fine. Most of you think that it's difficult to pass the semester but it depends upon you. Unless you do hard work on your studies, it's easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because civil engineering is one of the top core branches. If you are interested in this course, just step in. Most people will say that there is no future in this course, but I definitely say that this course will have a bright future, and all you need to do is work hard with consistency. There will be very few events, fests. etc.

If you are interested in civil engineering, you can join here.
Placements: In our college, we have placements, but they are IT jobs and not civil engineering jobs. If we want to get placed in campus placements, we have to learn coding languages like Python, Java etc. We don't have many core jobs.
Infrastructure: The campus has three blocks, one is the main block in which the second, third, and fourth-year students of ECE, IT, and CSE study, and the second one is the juniors block, and the other is the civil engineering block which includes EEE, civil, mechanical, and mining students. The hostel is good.
Faculty: The curriculum and faculty are good. Labs and lab in-charges are quite good at explaining things. The curriculum is good. If you are interested, you can join here.

I would not recommend joining this college.
Placements: This is not a good college for recruitment and placements compared to other colleges. Other colleges have many placement opportunities for all-stream students. Most of the students are not placed in any company until now.
Infrastructure: It has old buildings, poor infrastructure, and bad weather. There is no power back-up, and elevator facility for faculty and students. The infrastructure is not good, and there are cracks all over the buildings. Those were constructed in 1990s, so are not good.
Faculty: The teaching experience of the faculty is not good. Some are very bad at teaching, and some are average. No one has the experience of teaching with projectors and digitally. We don't have experienced faculty members so it's very difficult to pass out and clear the subjects in academics.
