Placements: Regarding the placement cell, they have invited every startup company to our college. But the thing is they could not take many students, and the packages they offered are also very low compared to big companies like Infosys, CTS, TCS etc. My suggestion is to bring most number of big companies to recruit us towards our career growth and exposure. Most probably, 50% of the students can be placed somehow. But the balance 50% of the students can face difficulties to get a job outside. The maximum p...
Placements: The placement cell at JEC works at its best to see their students placed in a good job. But no proper training is given to the students. If the students have the sufficient knowledge to get into the companies, they could shine. Tier 2/3 companies attend the campus drive at this college, and the students could get placed in top MNCs from the off-campus drives held at other colleges. About half of ECE and CS students get placed in their dream jobs every year. The offered salaries range from Rs. 2 ...
Placements: The placements are very bad in our college for us and our senior batch. Only 5% of the students are placed in my batch and my senior batch. The highest salary is 2.5LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Hexaware Technologies, Southerland, VEE technologies are the companies which visited the college. No one got the internship from the college, and there is no stipend. There is a placement cell, but it is not efficient and useful.
Placements: Placements are good in Jaya College. Around 75% students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered is 3 LPA and 1.8 LPA is the lowest. Both software and core companies visited our college. Let me name the companies accordingly. If we see in the core side, Syrma Technology and VVDN visit as off-campus. Then in the software side, W2BI, Kadamba Technologies, Rifluxyss Softwares, X-Media Solutions, etc. visited the campus offering the roles as mobile application developer and software d...
Placements: My batch 2012-2016, there are 0% placements for the aeronautical department. From our senior batch, none of them is selected in the placements. They arrange Sutherland placement, but none of them got selected. If you are joining this college, they tell you that they offer 100% placement, but it's a fake advertisement.
Placements: During the time of admission, the college staff told they would bring the top reputed companies, but they had failed what they had to do to the students. Some IT based companies came, but we didn't even know the company name. They just did the false advertisement to the people.
Placements: Well according to my seniors, a class contain 65 students, and in that 65 about 30 plus are being placed on the campus interviews. The placements are good, and they except a minimum category of 6.5 - 8.5 CGPA. The students are offered roles based on their interview skill set, and salary varies between 12 k -30 k per month.
Placements: They don't seem to provide placements as they promised. It was said that reputed companies were visiting the campus but that wasn't true. On rare occasions, companies like Jockey and Peter England were visiting our college. But for my department, frequent visits for Loyal Textile made us wonder that at least we got this.
The college provides good discipline and study. The college won't provide campus placements as they have showed 100% placements in there brochure just to get more admissions. Campus and infrastructure is not up to the mark. Administration of the college does not listen to the needs of the students.
My college life is one of the most memorable things in my life because we had come across so many funniest things and lot of entertainments. In my class, there is no best friend because all are my best friends. Our Head of the department was very friendly with us and encouraged a lot. Not only our HOD but also our Lecturers. All my friends were well settled in Big IT companies, govt sectors, etc. In our college, we have so many amenities like very big Libraries, Computer Laboratories, Playing gr...
The college is situated very deep inside but has bus facilities. Classrooms are good and the furniture is also very good. The campus infrastructure is really good. The teachers have the ability to teach properly. Good rules and regulations. Dress code is present to avoid indecency. Good computer labs. Library is small but good.
Very good college to learn more about discipline. Lecturers are caring enough. College helps you to grow through both education and extra-curricular activities. So we can refer any of our acquaintances or friends to this college. I did my MAC and currently working as a software professional earning monthly salary of Rs. 70,000.
It's good for teaching the subject for us. They don't give much preference to cultural and sports events. But I have recently learned that now they give attention to all divisions. They have to improve their infrastructure. Specifically, departments of information technology, computer science, electrical and electronic, electronic and communication get more opportunities of campus placements.
It is a very good college. The teaching staff is excellent. The first preference is given to practical classes, they also encourage sports. They hold seminars for students with people with industry exposure and experience, and also conduct workshops. Extra classes are taken for students who need them. Overall, it is a very good college. The money invested in this college is put to good use. The campus is awesome. There is a separate place for playing individual sports.
Actually I studied in Jaya Institute of Technology (near Thirutani) which is the part of Jaya Engineering. Upcoming students for god sake, don’t ever chose this college. Those 4 years were my worst time of my life and I’m still suffering for that. It isn’t worth the money, Worst campus, 0% placements and the worst faculty.
Just another college ensuring 100 % placement. The college is strict. No good food or hostel. If you do any mischievous thing, they will reduce practical marks. It’s an average college, coaching is good for computer science department. If you value your happiness, then don’t take admission in this college, it’s like a jail.
Jaya Engineering. College aka JEC is one of the decent colleges in Chennai but don't expect lot of placements. But, this college is good for Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering. Faculty is good. Dress code: pure formals (no tie) Best for sports (cricket, volley ball, football, and kabaddi) lot of inter college tournaments will happen in this college because ground is good.
This college provides good education and keeps frequent test to test students and make 100% pass percentage. Professors teach and solve problem in understandable way so that we won’t get any doubts at that time. One main drawback is, canteen needs to be improved, and other than that all the things are ok.
JAYA is the best college if you want to pursue a career for different course. Particularly, Electrical and Instrumentation and textile technology departments are among the best in the country. Students have the opportunity to improve their technical engineering skills as well as managerial skills. There are lot of activities for overall personality development of an individual. I study in textile technology and we have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty. The whole curriculum is designed ...
A good college for academics but scores low in Extra Curricular activities and other amenities. Teaching and coaching is above average but exposure for students is less. Not like few other colleges which demands money for unwanted things. Provides a good environment for students to maintain a cordial relationship within themselves and faculty.
