Strict but pretty decent college with good food and decent infrastructure.

Placements: The placements have become dull than the previous year. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon, Zoho visited our campus. But the recruitment percentage has decreased than previous years as the companies have strict and tougher placement process. The offered salary was from 3 lakhs per annum to 12 lakhs per annum. The roles such as a software developer, service engineer, software tester were offered from the IT companies.

Average placements. Above average infrastructure. Good faculty.

Placements: Around 20-30 companies come for placements, among which, most are IT companies including Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. Around 30-40% of the students only get through the placements though they are given very good placement training. The package is around 2-3.5 LPA. The role offered is that of a software engineer. You cannot except many core companies. Only a handful of core companies visit Jeppiaar which rarely recruit students. Internships are not that encouraged. Instead of st...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the campus environment and infrastructure

Placements: The placement is mostly of IT-related companies here. Hardly 1 or 2 core companies step into the college. The placement percentage is absolutely less and hardly 10 candidates in a department with a strength of 120 get placed in a company. Don't think that you will earn Rs.50000 even if you do get placed. At the maximum, you can get Rs.20000 if you get through hard rounds of the selection and get placed. Overall, it is not satisfactory.

The college is well-disciplined and it has a trained crowd.

Placements: Overall, the placement record is good. Recruitment of core profiles is poor. The college will give placement training from the 5th semester. Each company follows different criteria for selection. Both on-campus and off-campus placements are available. CSE and IT departments are given the first preference. Even other department students get placed in software companies.

Excellent infrastructure, great hostel, faculty needs improvement, decent placements.

Placements: Placements are on an average level. About 30-40% of students get placed. The salary offered is almost always below 5 lakhs per annum. Most placements are from IT companies like Infosys and Wipro. The placement percentage is very less for a college with such world-class infrastructure.

Satisified because of good placements in 2016, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Decent placements for all the batches. If you want to go to IT firm, it's easy because there will be a lot of IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. that come for placements. But if you want to choose other firms apart from IT, it is very tough to be placed as only a few companies will come and the number of recruitment also will be very low. Coming to the number of students placed every year, it totally depends on the IT companies' requirements every year. The highest ...

One of the top engineering colleges in Chennai

Placements: Placements were drastically increased for our batch when compared to the previous batch and it was further better for the next batch. Many top IT firms visited our campus for the placements. Most of the eligible students got placements in top companies through the campus interview.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2017. Really good infrastructure.

Placements: I'm pursuing the 3rd year of Aero and I haven't got any placements from any companies but I have discussed with our seniors and they said that they had many campus placements from big MNCs. More than 85% of students got placed. Highest salary offered was 4.5 lakh/annum and the lowest salary offered was 2.5 lakh per annum and the average salary was 3.2 lakh/annum. CTS, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Syntel, Honeywell, ProSIM, Goodrich aerospace Geometric. Software engineering, software testing, aerod...

College is good, the food is great and placements are average.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. The highest package was around 6 lakh per annum. Only a few companies visit the college. The companies which visit every year are CTS and Infosys. They come for mass recruitment but the other companies visiting are mostly BPOs.

A little dissatisfied with the infrastructure of some buildings but good food and good placements.

Placements: The placements seem to be good. They roped in a few good companies such as Wipro and Infosys. The average package was about 3.5 lacs per year. The placement cell gives good support to the students. But most of the companies which visited the campus were of IT background. It will be good if they try to rope in more core companies.

Really good management failed to use the opportunity.

Placements: Around 50-60% pupils are placed, and mostly IT companies visited for an interview especially Wipro and Infosys which are the major companies. These companies take really 150-200 students for the overall college. Nowadays, I came to know that major core companies are entering the campus. I am really happy for that.

During the period of my engineering, I found my college suitable both in terms of studies and food. It also provided us with good placements. Many companies visited during our placements. The campus life of this college is good and disciplined. Overall, I found this college suitable for me. I can recommend this college if it continues the same aspects of what I had during my engineering days.

It is a good college with all the facilities provided to the students. The worst part is that they try to act strict but it never happens. The quality of education is up to the level. Faculty teaches the students just to score marks not for the knowledge. To know about the outside world, it is the best place to join.

All Jeppiaar Institutions are really well-disciplined and we can proudly say that we completed graduation from Jeppiaar Institution because discipline is the main reason to student to get success in their life. They taught this one from first year itself. Next placement is also really good. Placement training cell for all final year students make sure that they really get trained for campus interviews. Get to know about Jeppiar Engineering College, Chennai.

Placements: The placement opportunities are average in this year. Most of the students (final year students) got the Job offer but the average salary package is lesser compared to the last year. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Zoho, Cognizant and TCS. Top roles offered are Network Engineer and Junior Developed. Most of the students chose the IT field instead of their own domain.

The worst college ever with no proper facilities and no experienced staff.

Placements: So talking about placement in biotechnology only a few companies came for placement that is not related to the core field it is just a service-based company. So the highest package is Rs.20000 per month and they were offering associate trainee and entry-level roles.

Not so much of entertainment friendly. If ready for a monotonous life, this college is an option.

Placements: I'm from biotechnology department, not many companies are brought to campus for placement. Only one company Zifo RnD Solutions is brought. They provide an annual package of around 2.5 Lacs (as far as I know). The top recruiting company is Biocon. Internships if applied on our own interest, the college will encourage to attend.
