Placements: Students in our college were getting internships in companies like Education Tree, Teach for India, etc. Most of the students didn't sit for college placements due to COVID, so online interviews took place. Almost 70% of the students got hired by very good companies like Genpact, with good salary packages of 4.8 LPA.
Placements: For Sociology (honors), placements are not what students want in this course. This course opens the field of teaching, research, social work, media house, policy analysis, and corporate specialist. You also learn ethnographic filmmaking in this course if you have it in the syllabus as I have.
Placements: The placements in JMC are unbeatable. It's so overwhelming and worth it for students. The placement cell provides quality internships and placements for students, not only internships but also the opportunities for doing free courses and workshops that lead to the overall skill development of students. Big companies like Accenture come for placement drives. The average package offered was 5 Lacs per annum, and the maximum package offered was 19.25 LPA for B.A. Hons courses. Around 70% of the stu...
Placements: I took admission in NCWEB instead of regular and I swear it's the best thing I did. The placement of NCWEB is the same as regular students. Courses offered are B.A., B.A. (Hons)., B.Com (Hons)., andB.Com. Top recruiting companies for B.Com from JMC are Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI, E&Y, Wipro, etc.
Placements: Most of the students are placed in many famous companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, PWC, and Firefox for the job roles like product designing, finance managing, and human resource departments. Many students even get placements in multinational Companies with good salary packages.
Placements: Placements offered are of diverse sectors, so discipline-based placements are less. The placements at JMC cater to the rapidly changing requirements of the corporate sector and facilitate productive interaction between students' skill sets and employability.
Placements: Students are selected on a merits basis, and 45% is the aggregate marks to apply for this UG course. Our college also provides a placement cell that helps students to get recruited by big companies like Wipro, Deloitte, Oberoi, Neev, etc. The median salary package offered in this course is 3.5 LPA.
Placements: It had 3-4 schools that came for the campus placements. There were schools like Pathways and Prakriti that came for placements. All the schools were either Cambridge or IB schools, mostly for primary teacher roles with a base salary of 39,000 per month. The placements percentage were relatively low in 2020 which can also be due to the pandemic.
Placements: Many students got placed through the placement cell in our college. I have friends from the commerce and B.Voc department who got placed through the placement cell. We keep receiving emails to attend interviews related to placements.
Placements: Particularly in our course, the placement percentage is something around 60-70%. The top companies recruiting are Byju's, Vedantu, Coursera, etc with mostly the job profile of content creator or teacher. Many students also consider freelancing too by their tuition centers.
Placements: Top companies like Deloitte, E&Y and many others come to hire freshers with pretty decent packages. A good quantum of candidates sit for placements, which has many levels to be tackled. The ratio of candidates who get placed is comparatively less in regard to the quantum of those who attend the placements.
Placements: The placement cell provides quality internships and placements to students, not only internships but opportunities for doing free courses and workshops are given that leads to the overall skill development of the students. Big companies like Accenture come for placement drives. The package offered was 5 lakh per annum maximum package offered was 19.25 Lacs but that was for B.A. Hons courses. Around 70% of the students get placed out of those who sit for the interviews.
Placements: I think 600+ students got placed in my course. The packages offered are quite good. Many top recruiting companies come for my course. Around 70% of students in my course got internships, including me. We took part in many competitions. Overall, it is a good experience for me.
Placements: The placement drive is held in the third year of our college life, and many big companies like Deloitte, Infosys and Tata hire students. More than 200 students get placed every year. The only major drawback is that the programme doesn't get updated for placements as compared to the Hons students.
Placements: Most of the students who want to pursue a job after their graduation can get good placements. Our college also has a placement cell. Many leading corporates like Deloitte and Tata Consultancy Services recruit students from our college. Most of our seniors got placed in many MNCs.
Placements: Jesus and Mary College placements are pretty decent as many companies come for placements, like Reliance, Deloitte etc. Almost 60% of students were placed in the college. The highest package offered was around 5 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is good. Many top companies like Deloitte, ICICI, E&Y, KPMG, Accenture, PwC, Wipro, TFI, Brain & Co, etc., visit JMC for placements. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA-7 LPA. Various roles are offered in different sectors ranging from audit to HR associate to sales to teaching.
Placements: Jmc's placement cell provides ample opportunities & also brings opportunities for internship, fellowship and campus ambassadorship. They also conducts talks and workshops to bridge the knowledge gap between students and companies but there are limitations due to the fact that majority of courses offered are arts.
