It was great to become an engineer.

Placements: The placements were offered only for merits, and 5% job opportunities are there. It is tough to survive with the competition. It depends on how you focus towards your career. You can have great future outside if you have a good score. Learn a couple of designing software, and you will definitely get a job.

Dissatisfied that much but one must improve self-preparation.

Placements: UGC introduced IDP course and AICTE did not approve this course. IDP students have fewer opportunities when compared with the regular B.Tech course, but the core companies offer more package to IDP students when compared to the regular B.Tech. The salary offered to the students was in between 3 to 8 LPA. Both the core and software companies visit the campus for the placements. Around, 40% of the students got the internship.

A good and nice place to learn and make our future.

Placements: The university gives huge scope to the students by offering a wide variety of corporate and government agencies to place their students. Most of the private agencies include L&T, Jaiprakash associates, Lanco Infratech, Reliance Infratech. 3 of our seniors have got placed in Lanco and L&T Metro Constructions. Their pay scales fluctuate between Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month. They are offered jobs in the positions of site engineers.

An overview of JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad

Placements: Not many offers come to civil, but IT companies do hire people from all streams. For CSE students, you will get few good opportunities and you need to prove and grab them. ECE, EEE and mechanical do get good placements with many other offers in core department also. Civil engineering gets a few core companies like L&T but they take very few while others get placed in IT companies.

Excellent infrastructure and average placements.

Placements: As we're from a non-technical branch, JNTUH CEH Metallurgical Engineering Department has "0" Core companies. As we're studying in reputed college like JNTUH, some IT companies like TCS, Accenture etc., are allowing to participate in the campus selection. So if you want to join in this department and have interest in IT it's one of the best options since some other colleges do not allow core branch students in IT company placements.

Our college is one of the top colleges in Telangana

Placements: There are placements in our college, but most of them are in IT only. Major recruiters of our college are TCS and Oracle. From a class of 60 students, only 15 of them are placed in core companies in mechanical. The average package per annum in our college is 4 lakhs and the highest package in our college in the year 2016-17 was 12 lakhs per annum.

Good placements in 2016. Very good Wi-Fi facility, well-qualified faculty, good infrastructure.

Placements: Being a reputed university, many companies come to our college for placements. The percentage of students getting placed depends upon the course which they are in. On an average, 90% students are placed every year. TCS, Google, Cognizant, Net Crackers, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, etc. visited our campus. The number of students getting an internship from our college is very less. The placement training programme is also conducted in the college for students to attend for placements. ...

It's the best government university in Telangana next to OU.

Placements: JNTU has a good number of placements related to IT and computers background but core companies are less in number and you will face high competition with your classmates. If you opt for CSE then JNTU is the best in Telangana. For other branches, if you have talent then you can succeed. If you’re passionate in core streams, then you can get good placement. The placement cell in JNTU doesn't allow the candidates to attend more than one company if you got an offer, this is the worst thing.

University life is good but placements are bad.

Placements: 70% of the students were placed in this college, and the highest package was INR 30 lacs per annum. There were other private companies that came to recruit, and the top roles offered were manager or assistant manager. All were having good classes with faculty, which was amazing. There was an indoor stadium.

Placements: The placement cell is very good and supportive. The companies like Wipro, Capgemini, IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., come here. The placement trainers are very supportive. It is one of the best universities all over India. But the college needs some improvement in the education system and faculty team.
