It is the best college in Meerut.

Infrastructure: JP Institute of Engineering and Technology - JPIET has the best infrastructure. Newly build buildings, classes, laboratories, sports complex, synthetic athletic ground, tennis court. The University has an excellent hostel facility, rooms, campus Wi-Fi facility and hostel Wi-Fi facility. It is a lot better than other private institutes. JP Institute of Engineering and Technology - JPIET will be like heaven for the students.
Faculty: The teachers in the JP Institute of Engineering and Technology - JPIET are a lot better than the teachers in the nearby state technical institutions. The studies are not much difficult and are also affordable. The College has dedicated faculty and strict course.

It is an average college to get an AKTU degree with less price.
Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. Not a single company visited our college for placements. For some years we are waiting to get any chance, but after very disappointment, we find some companies by ourselves. So if you want only a degree, then join this college. Do not join this college with the hope of placements.
Infrastructure: Overall, it is a good college for its infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. Everything depends on their mood, and if they want to help students, then they do. Otherwise, they neglect. If you can do everything on your own, then I suggest opting for this college. Passing out students from B.Tech can teach polytechnic students, which is very bad as they teach very little. They don't focus on students' future, and they just ask to study on their own. They are not responsible for anything anywhere, but some faculty members are good and help students.

Please don't take admission in JPIET. It will destroy your future.
Placements: There are no placements in our college because the college is not inviting any company for the placements neither any company visit here for the recruitment. Teachers here are not teaching students as technical. It feels like we are studying as class 12 students, even though teachers are not making children industry-ready, then students cannot go for placements.
Infrastructure: There are neither lab teachers nor any proper faculty available for the proper subjects. Hostel facilities are bad. There is no cleaning facility in the hostel. The quality of the mess food is very bad and tasteless. The fee charged is also very high. The hostel fee is around Rs. 66,000 per month. The college fee is around Rs. 90,000 per month. I will advise that students should not take admission in this college.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but the rest are coming and going only. They complete their 8 hours duty. Some teachers are well qualified and have proper knowledge about the subjects, but the rest of them don't know what they are teaching. Teachers are not able to make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen computer science because I like living with computers and I am very interested in technology. I can improve the programming better. Only events are organised once a year. Scholarships are available only for Uttar Pradesh students. The campus is spread over 85 acres.

The college has good infrastructure, but still, they have to improve their quality of teaching.
Placements: A few new companies visit the campus for placements. The head of the training and placements cell is trying the best to bring many companies. A very few companies visited the campus for the technical profiles. However, many companies visited the campus for marketing profiles. Only a few students got placed from college. But in future, you can expect more placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Labs and classrooms are very nice. There are facilities like Wi-Fi, library, sports, and playground. All classrooms are very good. The lobbies, study room, medical facilities, and labs are very clean and well maintained. The cafeteria is beautiful.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are qualified professionals. They are going to teach you as per the university standards, but still, the quality has to improve as per the IT industries. There is no industry exposure. The course curriculum was prescribed by the university. They are going to teach almost all the concepts.
Other: Every year, the college conducts an event named Inceptra and DJ night.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college because of poor placement records and faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college are not like what you expect from an engineering college. This year, hardly 3 to 4 companies visited our college, and those companies are not related to our core department. The salary package offered was between Rs. 12,000 per month to Rs. 15,000 per month. They offered roles like job analyst, operation, sales etc. The college doesn't even put any effort into providing internships to students. Training is provided in which any student can participate to learn any technology or popular programming language. A placement cell is available in our college which hardly attracts companies and has no coordination with students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms and labs are good. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our library has a good reputation. Food served in the canteen is good. There are 3 canteens on our campus, and 2 canteens are open until 9 pm. The hostel rooms are spacious and good. Food offered in the mess is average. I'm not facing any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, but they aren't resourceful. They try to make you learn things by giving you notes and many other aids. But, don't expect a brilliant explanation from teachers. Though the college doesn't let you skip even a single lecture in the first year, the later years will not be the same. The teaching quality is good. Some teachers are exceptionally good, and some are not. The student-faculty ratio is 30:1. We didn't get any industry exposure.
Other: The annual sports and cultural fest named Inceptra is the major event organised in the college, and it takes place in September. This fest is exceptionally good. The campus crowd is average. The college is 10 km away from the railway station and is difficult to commute. Every year, scholarships are provided to 3 students who score exceptionally good in the academic year.
