It is a great college with good amenities.
Placements: Multiple companies visit our college for placements, mostly for the CSE and ISE courses. But we also had opportunities to apply for placements for sales, etc. Only a limited number of companies visit our college to hire students from our course. The placement process was smooth and simple. We are able to clear rounds of interviews with ease.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is beautiful. It is placed somewhat on the top of the mountain, which I felt when I used to walk to my class. It provides all the basic facilities. Our campus is like a garden. It has 2 grounds, a basketball court, and a tennis court too, which we are not using. Labs are very good and clean.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, understanding, and great. Teachers are great at teaching us concepts. They are strict sometimes. All the attendees are friendly. The course curriculum needs great improvements as it still has topics that are old but will help in the basics. The difficulty level in exams depends upon individuals. We had 2-4 subjects that were difficult.
Other: I have chosen this course because our branch is a combination of mechanical engineering and management, where I get to know about various concepts of both domains. I do not think of any improvements other than improvements in the entire course curriculum. Our college is famous for its fests mainly as we had famous guests like Benny Dayal, Raghu Dixit, etc. It conducts good extracurricular activities. Scholarship provided depending upon caste.

Overall, satisfied with my experience in the engineering college.
Placements: Placements in the college are average for our batch and junior batch, but the placements are good for our senior batch. The highest salary package offered by Adobe to an information science was around 11 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Sonata, IBM (BPO), etc., visited the campus for placements. Getting the internship from college was hard for our batch and senior batch. Juniors got a lot of internships from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good, and it provides all the facilities for students. Labs were well-equipped, and the foreman always helps the students. The college has a basketball court, cricket ground, canteen, etc. I haven't faced any issues regarding the infrastructure. A few years ago, a bio-diesel plant was built by the faculty members and students in the college.
Faculty: The course curriculum was good with both technical and management subjects. Teachers in the college were knowledgeable in their subjects that they taught in different semesters. A few faculty members in the college were PhD holders. Their teaching quality was good. But a few subjects could've been better or replaced by other teachers. In every semester, there is an industrial visit for a day to all the branch students.
Other: Every semester, the events take place on the campus, and it completely run by students. Activities take place, and everyone is involved for two months. Alumni meet can be built and treated better.

It is an average college, not for high profile people.
Placements: As I am from the industrial engineering and management course, the placement in this course is not as good as other courses but the college is average. The minimum package starts from 2.5 LPA. Many companies visit the campus like Infosys, Wipro and TCS. If you guys work in these companies, you will spoil your life, so work for any startup.
Infrastructure: It is huge as it has 4 blocks. The food in the canteen is good and it is cheap. Wi-Fi is just a waste as it takes 10 minutes to open a Google page. Labs are average and hostel rooms are good. The mess is the worst but outside the college, there are many eateries which are just awesome.
Faculty: The faculty team is not the worst but I don't know what to name them. You suffer from the 1st day itself. Each class has 60 students and around 10 teachers. They take us to an industrial visit in the 2nd year which is just a waste of time. Do not worry about the labs as you will be passed even if you don't know anything.
Other: Lastly, if you are looking for a high standard college, then you must go for PES. The best part about the college is students. Students from all over the country come to our college and there is no ragging inside the college. But I don't know about outside the college. Joining from the management quota is a waste.

An honest review of the JSS Academy Of Technical Education, Bangalore
Placements: Most of the recruiters are from the software industry and recruit students to fill up positions such in the maintenance and testing departments. Package caps usually range from 2.7 lakhs p.a. to 3.5 lakhs p.a. but in rare cases may touch the 8 lakhs p.a. mark. Companies specialising in the fields such as mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are seldom sighted on the recruiters list. The average placement ratio is around 70%.
Infrastructure: For a college placed on top of a hill, the infrastructure is pretty mediocre. The laboratories are filled with equipment from the late 1990s. So are the books in the library. Classrooms are average, with none to one projectors. Despite the collection of books being average the digital library is good, filled with not the latest material, but with recent material. The canteen is outsourced to a catering service based on an annual contract. So, the quality of food changes as the year passes. There is a single empty ground which serves as the only place to play any sport. It also serves as the place where the annual fest 'Verve' is held. The cricket field built in the college and managed by the KSCA is very good. But the single ground mentioned earlier is badly maintained with barely any traction.
Faculty: The faculty albeit knowledgeable have a tough time communicating their ideas to the students. They make full use of the projectors placed inside the classrooms. The limited syllabi serves to limit the learning of the student. The average student-faculty ratio across all departments is around 20:1. The pedagogy is restricted to either chalk and talk or using a presentation to explain the concepts. The syllabus, again serves to limit the ability of the lecturers to convey any sort of knowledge to the students (the syllabi are set by the Visveswaraiya Technological University).
Other: If you (the person reading this review) wants to be an engineer instead of a really good marks-scorer, consider this college after all options have been exhausted. The environment is really bad if you want to learn anything seriously. The faculty mostly encourage the students to focus on scoring marks and rarely talk about learning the concepts and applying those concepts to solve real world problems. Also, the sports department is comprised of a staff of 1 person. There are no coaches or advisors for any of the sports. The football team has to hire a pitch outside college to practice. The college is mostly supportive to extra-curricular activities (not the sporty type). The college has one of the biggest fests in Bangalore. Life at JSSATE-B is not the ideal college but it will give you a pretty good set of experiences.

Overall one of the Top Engineering Colleges in all aspects.
