There are some sweet and sour memories in these fantastic four years of engineering.

Placements: The placements are nice. Mostly, our college offers 100% placements. Our placement cell is also very active. This year, the highest salary on campus is 14 LPA, and the average is around 3.5 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Microsoft, India Valley, etc. visit our campus. Mostly, 60% students get internships in start UPS or companies. Overall, I'll rate it as 4.5, out of 5.

I had a great and memorable time at KJSCE.

Placements: The placements are good. The basic package is almost same, around 3 LPA. You should try to maintain at least 60% aggregate to be even eligible to participate in most companies. Some have 55% too while some students who were offered with higher packages have 65-70%. Most of the students get placed. The maximum placement of all the branches in IT CSE only.

K J Somaiya College of Engineering worth or not.

Placements: The college has started providing various internship opportunities from this year 2017. Barclays and Morgan Stanley were the big recruiters who visited our campus. The average package is somewhere about 3.7 lacs, and the placement is pretty good. The companies like TCS, Accenture, L&T IT, L&T core, Microsoft, etc. are some of the companies visiting colleges. The highest package went around 18 lacs.

K J Somaiya College of Engineering - A good deal.

Placements: The placement is good enough! Some good companies like Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Accolite, Oracle, Microsoft and many other dream companies hire the students. The companies like Infosys, Accenture, L&T and others also come! The placement of IT and computers is worth. On an average, if you get an admission in the computers or IT and if your pointer is decent, then you may end up getting a good job offer.

Review of KJSCE, Vidyavihar

Placements: There are good placement opportunities in this college. There is a minimum pointer criterion (like 6.7 average pointer of all 8 semesters) to be eligible for campus placements. Also, the pointer criterion depends on the company. Seminars are arranged by the college to give students an idea about placement procedure and the entire process. Also, they train students in the start of the 4th year so that they can do well in Group discussion and Interview. Also, the college informs about different in...

Review of KJ Somaiya EXTC branch 2017.

Placements: Placement is really good. The placement office in the college tries its level best to bring the college and get people placed. Various training lectures are also held in the college so that the student can crack the aptitude. Companies that are coming are Accenture, Trekbin, L&T and Infosys.

Placements are excellent, infrastructure is good but lacks in the campus life.

Placements: Placement was quite good. More than 60% of students got placements through in-campus interview. The highest salary for the last year placements was 8 lakhs per anum and lowest was 2.80 lakhs per annum. Various companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys, Capgemini, Larsen and Toubro visited last year. Students were selected for the post from system engineer to junior network administrator and many more. Approx 40% of the students got internships from college. The highest stipend was 25,000 and the lowest ...

Absolutely great college to study in if you are studying only for placements.

Placements: Placements were moderate for core mechanical engineers and were good for IT companies. The highest salary was 6 lakh per annum and the average was 3.5 lakh. Companies like Godrej, L & T, Bluestar, Accenture, TCS and Infosys came. Roles like design engineer, associate manager and technical sales engineer were offered. To be honest, no internships were offered.

Very good infrastructure and facilities but the faculty is not very satisfactory.

Placements: From what I have heard from my seniors, the placements are not very good. Although good companies like L&T, Mahindra, Accenture, etc. visit for placements but the number of students is relatively less. The average salary offered is 3.5 to 4 LPA. Many roles ranging from technical to marketing background were offered.

Totally satisfied with my college.

Placements: Almost the whole batch of computers and IT streams was placed at 90% students. The stipend varied from 2 lacs to 14 lacs, and the average stipend offered was 3.25 lacs. I got placed in DCB with a 4 lac package. Many get placements in Infosys and Accenture for sure.

Really good infrastructure and a campus to die for.

Placements: The placements in our college are really good. As far as I have seen 90% of the students have been placed. All kinds of companies with different requirements visit our college. Companies offering more than 5 lakhs come under the dream company in KJSCE. People who get such jobs can not apply for any other job.

Great college. Poor placement for mechanical. Great infrastructure.

Placements: For my batch, placements were horrible. Out of a total of 50 companies up till now, only 5-6 core companies have visited the campus and a total of 10 companies which accepted BE in the mechanical stream. Out of 150 students, around 25-30 only have been placed which is like a 20% of the total count.

Average faculty, good facilities and a nice campus.

Placements: Placements in KJSCE are decent, fairly good. Won't say they are too good or too bad. More than 75% students get placed every year, on the basis of past few years knowledge. It is not that the other entire 25 % do not get placed, but among then, some pursue higher education or business. Highest pay package: INR 12 LPA, one student. Average pay package: INR 3.5 LPA Minimum pay package: INR 2.5 LPA The significant recruiters are Infosys (mass recruiter), JP Morgan (10-15 students), Google/Microsof...

A prestigious autonomous institution.

Placements: The placement percentage is actually high for both the computer branches i.e. Computer Engineering & IT as well as for EXTC whereas not that high for branches like Electronics and Mechanical as most of the students from these go for post-graduation. The placement season this year have seen companies ranging from Microsoft to Godrej. There are also a couple of mass recruiting companies like Accenture & Infosys. The mechanical branch saw a less number of companies whereas the telecommunications br...

Good placement and a huge campus.

Placements: I think placement is the plus point of KJSCE. I got one company, and almost 90% student(without KT) got placed in the companies. Around 20 to 40 companies visited, and mostly, computer and IT students got their dream company. Still, many companies are coming. At the end of February, the non-criteria companies also visited the Somaiya campus.

Good for placements but curriculum needs to be updated.

Placements: Placements were good for IT branch. Around 75% students were placed. The highest package was 9 LPA and the lowest was around 2.5 LPA. Roles were mainly as software developer or systems engineer. No internships were given through the college. Infosys, TCS, Morgan Stanley, Accenture, etc. were some of the companies.

A place where you can make memories.

Placements: Our placement was similar to that of the senior batch. Almost 70% of the students were placed. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, JP Morgan, Amdocs, Convonix and many others had visited the campus. The major role offered was Software Engineer, and the highest salary offered was 10 lakhs/year,.

A fun place to enjoy 4 years of your life and a definite job offer at the end!

Placements: Placements for the senior batch were comparable to ours. By the end of the course, nearly 100% of the students were placed. The highest offer was from Morgan Stanley while there were a few startups at the lower end. There were no internships from the college during our time.
