Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research very expensive for B.Tech CSE?

A:

It depends on which branch you want to choose in general if you want to get admission in CS/IT (2019 pattern) you have to pay avg 3 Lacs to 4lakh. As my many batch mates got admission through management quota they have paid 4 Lacs in 2019.

I am an Alumni of kk wagh college of engineering but I got admission on merit.

But I have friends who got admission in college through management quota and they paid almost 1–2 Lacs (2014–15) course

I hope this information helps you out.

All the best!

Depends on your marks. They have specific range of marks, According to which your amount will be decided. It starts from 1lk or something. Though I'm not admitted through management round, this is all I know.

Q:   How is the faculty for B.Tech CSE at K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research?

A:

It's a good college. The professors are very helpful and they guide your very nicely at every step of your college life. Also different kinds of technical and non technical festivals are held there which help you to grow in every field. And the atmosphere of the college too is good. You will have lots of fun plus you will have an opportunity to learn many things too.

It really depends on what you want to pursue. Nashik is an industrial hub having surrounded by MIDC's. If you're passionate about the industrial sector and you like Nashik as a city, then K.K. Wagh is the choice you're looking for.

But the opportunities for CS/IT sector are limited as compared to other places like Mumbai or Pune.

Having said that, I would say K. Wagh is a nice college, however it lacks in providing exposure to students as it does for students studying in cities like Pune/Mumbai.

Also I agree with the facts that  has provided in his answer. Go with these, and make a wise decision.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Better Option Among Private Colleges.
Placements: The highest package was 4.8 Lacs and the lowest was 3 Lacs. Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata companies come for placements. Almost 75% students got placed last year. Many companies visit KK Wagh College for placements and internships. It is one of the best colleges.
Infrastructure: College is quite old, so infrastructure is not high-tech, but still, it has every possible thing, like separate Wi-Fi for each and every classroom. Classrooms are also good. Labs have many equipments, and there are many labs. Medical facilities are also available. Every year, the college conducts sports events.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are well-educated and qualified with the best knowledge. College makes the students ready for any industrial work. Exam level is good. Teachers are very helpful, they help us in every possible way. Many teachers guide us. Teachers suggest many things.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in mechanical industries. Doing mechanical engineering increases your logical thinking and helps you think practically.

Good placements are in our college.
Placements: Last year, 112 students were placed out of 120. It means approximately 90 percent students are being placed every year in companies that visit our college: Mahindra, Bosch, ABB, etc. The highest package offered was 11.75 lpa, the lowest was 3.8 lpa, and average package was 4 lpa.
Infrastructure: Our college has a Wi-Fi facility, every classroom has a projector and we have a BMW engine for testing. The workshop of our college is very big and we also have CNG or CNC machines on our campus. There are two hostels on our campus, one for boys and the other for girls.
Faculty: Every subject has 5 units, and every semester we have four subjects, and two exams are being held in every semester: one is insem of 20 marks, the 60 marks are the endsem and 20 marks is for term work. A minimum of 22 credits is required to go to school next year. Teachers will be very helpful to the students.

Amazing placements of mech 2021 batch.
Placements: Due to the IT boom, our mech boys are also placed in IT companies at a good package of 4 LPA. I personally got placed in TCS at 3.8 LPA, but later in 2022, they terminated most of the MECH students. I survived because I have skills. These are not the college's fault; they provide the placement we have in the curriculum that we need to do an internship for eight semesters. All of us got an internship.
Infrastructure: From 8 am to 9:30 pm, Wi-Fi and library facilities are available at the college. Our college is the best in Nashik; we have projectors and digital equipment in classrooms. The hostel has neatness, and our gym is the best. I have always complained about mess food; they do not provide good quality food. Sports events are organized once a year.
Faculty: Our course is outdated; there are not any that are used currently in industries. In order to overcome this, they organize seminars every week but they are not very useful. Teachers are very friendly; they guide us like big brother. Semester exams are hard and need a lot of preparation to clear them.
Other: The mechanical placement graph declines from 2022 and needs to be settled.

Best Engineering College in Nashik.
Placements: Placements are good for us but package is very low like the highest is 6lpa, with compare to other branches is very low. In class 70% students placed. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Force motors etc. We have in our curriculum either project or internship at last semester mostly non stipend.
Infrastructure: Best college in Nashik, high-speed Wi-Fi available from 8am to 9pm in library and hostel. We have big practical labs all equipments are well maintained. Hostel is good and it facilities like food, water, B.Ed are good. Canteen if our college is big food rates are cheap compare to others.
Faculty: Teachers are understandable with syllabus they tried to teach us aptitute, personality development and coding classes. Our college grant autonomous status from SPPU. It designed as per industries and make us industry ready. Semester exams are end sem, class test, mid sem, moral and practical need to score atleast 40% in all of those.

Best college in Nashik in terms are all aspects.
Placements: Best placement wise college in Nashik, from 3rd year companies come to hire in our class recently one get offer in 3rd year from Altos at 7LPA package. The highest package is 9 lpa, and the average package is 3 lpa. The top companies is Mahindra, Altos, Tata Motors, Kia, etc. In our class, almost all get one internship. The top internship recruiter is Nashik Automation and Datamatics. The role offered by Altos is senior mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good, but the building is very old. As compared to Nashik's top colleges like MET, our college is far ahead in terms of all facilities. Wi-Fi available in library, LAN able internet available at lab. The hostel has very affordable fees, like 60,000 P.A., with all rent and mess included. Facility includes a gym as well. For sports, football and volleyball sections are there.
Faculty: Most of our faculty is highly qualified and helpful; most of them pass out from IIT, NIT, and top colleges. Our college has an autonomous course curriculum designed by our professors that was previously designed as per industrial requirements. Semester exams are in the winter and summer sessions, but the difficulty is greater. You need to score 30 out of 80 to pass.

Hi Rupesh, It is difficult to get admission for Mechanical Engineering with this score. As cutoff goes high up to 90-92% for diploma student to get admission for any branch in K K Wagh College for engineering. Mechanical is the branch where competition is more so I think it is difficult.
