Overall, good experience and learning in this college.

Placements: The eligibility criteria for this course is above 65 percent in your 12th board examination. The highest package offered for our course is 4 LPA. Around 80 percent of students at our college are placed in a good company with many benefits. Dream offer training is also provided to attend interview questions from various companies.

Overall, it is a good college but not that bad. However, it is poor in infrastructure.

Placements: In our batch, nearly 950 members passed out, and a minimum of 350 students was placed in the final year interview. Top companies which visited here were Infosys, TCS and Tech Mahindra. In our course, the highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 17,000 per month. Only a few members got an internship.

Good infrastructure, and a nice college for students who want to learn.

Placements: Placements wise, it is not much of a suitable college. But IT companies come for placements, and no mechanical companies come to hire the students. The placement cell is appointed to manage and get core companies to the college. The placements are fair, but they are not very well for mechanical.

Just another engineering college among 500 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: Only a few companies have come for the placement. They were Infosys, Tech Mahindra. For namesake, two core companies came, and we were never told of the placement results of those companies. Inspite of this being an Engineering college, call centres like "JUST DIAL" came for campus placements and recruited students for BPO. We learn Engineering for 4 years and finally college brings in BPO for campus placement and proudly says students are placed. In our batch, no student was placed in a core co...

My KCG college is not bad.

Placements: The placements here are not bad, but only Infosys has taken few students. The remaining students are trying for off-campus drives outside the college. No core company will be arriving at my college. It is totally bad. Even the mechanical student's life is a waste of time. ECE department students haven't got placed in core industries.

Satisfied but I expected more from this college.

Placements: All the top IT companies are hiring through campus interview, but core companies are not there. There are many IT companies around the college and hiring from the college. If you want to get into the core companies means there are no placements for you. You have to develop skills individually.

It was once a good choice of college.

Placements: Only the CS and IT departments are getting campus placements as there are no companies for other departments. It needs to be improved a lot. Mostly, every department students will attend only the IT companies. So it is not good for a student who is very strong in his subject or department other than CS and IT.

The placements are available in KCG College of Technology.

Placements: The placements were not up to the mark. I don't know about our senior's batches as I don't have any contact with them. The highest salary offered was about Rs. 5 lakhs and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. Only the service sector companies visited our college, and a few other companies offered the salesperson's jobs. The college did not arrange for any of the internships. Only a few of the students got the opportunity to learn.

It is a good college with good infrastructure, but no placements.

Placements: The placements are not good in this college. A few companies are coming, that also not great companies. They hire few members only. Infosys only visited the campus, that too only hired few students. Only 40% of the students got placed on campus. A few small companies also visited the campus. They hire a few students only.

Somewhat satisfied better than other colleges.

Placements: The placements are somewhat better than other colleges. Nowadays small colleges are more capable of giving placements to their students in top industries and firms. Low placements for past few years and this year also. Last time Infosys offered jobs to many like about 150 members, but this time only a few of about 30 students were placed.

Poor curriculum, no use in studying.

Placements: There is less placement in our college, no use of believing in the college placement. We have to take necessary steps to get placed in the companies. Only IT companies are coming, and they are offering jobs for only a few students. There are no core companies for core branches.

Barely checks the boxes for a good college experience but compensates with leniency

Placements: There are a handful of core companies that come but they usually don't hire anyone due to the poor quality of the students. Other than core companies, the IT companies that come are Infosys, Tech Mahindra. A handful of students get hired by these IT companies. Packages offered are not very great and usually unimpressive but the students take up these packages anyway from these IT companies.

Good college to enjoy and study - average teaching - good laboratories - good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were good but not useful. Only 25% of the students joined their respective companies, since the placements were just to showcase. Almost 75% of the overall students were placed. The highest was 7 LPA and lowest was 96 thousand per annum. Infosys, Cognizant, Geometric Global, are the companies which came for placements in our batch. Less than 5% of the students got internship from the college. They didn’t offer any stipend to anyone.

College can be run much efficiently and productively instead of concentrating on marks.

Placements: Placements were good during our year compared to both senior and junior batches. Around 70% of the students were placed in our section. Companies that attended our campus were Kaar Technologies, Infosys, iGate, Happiest Minds, Nesh Technologies, AKS Amity, CSS Corp, TCS, Bahwan Infotech, Tech Mahindra and some banks etc. I don't remember all the names but many more companies offered placements. The roles that were offered to students were System Engineer, Web Designer, Tester, Coder etc. The hig...
