KDK College of Engineering Review.
Placements: The highest package is 12 LPA, the average is 4-5.5 LPA. There are 80+ opportunities for the students. I don't have any idea about the percentage of students placed. There are various recruiting companies like TCS, Mahindra, and Bosch. The college also helps students to get internships.
Infrastructure: As of now, I don't stay in the hostel, but according to friends, the food is good. There are 2-3 canteens. The college encourages sports and also organizes the cricket league. The library is digitized. The facilities provided in the hostel are pretty good.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the college is good. As of now, the college comes under the university, but from the academic year 2024, it has become an autonomous institute, so I don't have an idea about the difficulties. The syllabus of the college is vary from easy to moderate, and sometimes it is hard as well.
Other: The connectivity to the college is good because it is in the center of the city. There are various fests and events organized by the college, like the freshers' party, annual gathering, etc.

A Decent College in my POV.
Placements: 8% students are placed this year, and the companies are not that widely heard or something. They offer upto 8 Lacs per annum and that's the max I heard so far. But students did get placed at a higher package in off campus Placements. Students go for off campus placements generally and they also get placed with a good package.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is filled with greenery. Proper mountains are there, at the entrance KDK logo is there which looks good. Hostels are average you can't expect good food here. Campus has a good library and Wi-Fi arrangement. Multiple canteens available. Hostels are decent, but mess is really messed up. Hostel do have Wi-Fi, Washing Machines, Water Cooler and a broken gym equipments. Cleaning is regular here but strict rules are there. Playgrounds are large enough for a cricket tournament. Proper equipment are available for engineering students at the workshop.
Faculty: Majority of the faculty are friendly, but few are really strict. Few faculty are the best suited for the course. Semester Exams are not difficult, but students really need good practice to achieve them. Also internship programs are held in campus by our faculty. The curriculum is relevant, and passing here is above 45%. Staffs are friendly and labs are well-equipped except the monitor, they were broken by the students and are left as it is.
Other: I chose this college because of my own reasons, but I consider this college as an above average college. Since all the facilities are decent yet you'll still get some students complaining about this college. Fest in this college are really good, you'll really enjoy them. Canteen provides decent food and campus is full of greenery. We have decent facilities for our course but they still needs more improvement. Transportation facilities are available, bus stand is available in front of the college and around 1 km radius you'll get metro station for airports and railways. Scholarship scheme is available for reservation students. Decent College in my opinion.

KDK College insight and experience, campus life, and placements.
Placements: I'm a computer science student, and in the previous year's placement batch, which completed the course in 2023, only 12 to 13 students got placed in core companies like Ambuja Cement, TCS, and Triveni Turbine. Most companies visiting are for core branch placements, with top companies like Bosch, Hexaware, and Dhoot Transmission. The top roles provided are analyst or consultant.
Infrastructure: In our campus, all the departments are separated into buildings known as Block A, Block B, and so on. Our course is conducted in Block B, which is the best block in the campus with free Wi-Fi, digital classrooms with touch panel displays, projectors, and modern computer labs. However, air-conditioned rooms are only available in seminar halls and labs. The college library is large with a vast collection of books. There are two canteens on campus, one big and one small. However, the food quality in both the canteen and hostel is not hygienic. You have to pay for mess service in the hostel or get a tiffin service. There is only one outdoor sports field and two indoor sports halls. Medical facilities are available in the ayurvedic college located on the campus.
Faculty: Our college recently gained autonomous status, but for us, as previous batch students, our exams are conducted through RTMNU. The curriculum is not updated; many subjects are outdated, and some are completely irrelevant. Semester exams are held every six months, with two sessional tests and one PUT exam before university exams. The semester exams are moderately difficult. Most of the teachers in our course hold Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees, and they teach us very well. Every semester, one of our toppers makes it to the RTMNU top 10 list.
Other: I'm a computer enthusiast, and my passion for computer science is at a different level, so I chose this course for my B.Tech degree. The thing I wish to improve the most is placement guidance classes and seminar organization on campus. Events are generally planned by our committees and clubs, and we have two events every month. The campus crowd is average during exam time, but lively before that. There are many scholarship schemes provided based on categories if you come through CAP examination.

KDK College - My first experience and campus life.
Placements: In our course, only about 40 to 45% of students were placed in start-ups and core companies. Placements have been difficult due to the recessions. The average package offered to the 2023 batch is INR 2.4 lakhs, with the highest package being INR 7 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Triveni Turbine, Dhoot Transmission, and core companies like Ambuja Cement. Internships are not provided by the college department; however, around 15 to 16 students secured internships through AICTE portals.
Infrastructure: Each branch has a separate block. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and display panels, and some classrooms are air-conditioned. The computer labs are modern, featuring systems with i5 CPUs. There is one large library with a huge collection of books. Hostels for boys and girls are in separate buildings. The hostel facilities are decent, with full Wi-Fi access and 24-hour electricity in all rooms. The food provided in the hostel and canteen is acceptable. Medical facilities are available, with a medical store located on campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and supportive, although many still teach the old university curriculum. Recently, our college gained autonomous status, and the curriculum has been updated for students who will join through CAP 2024. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and around 80% of students pass without any backlogs.
Other: I come from a farming village, but I’ve always been passionate about computers and wanted to change my career, so I chose Computer Science. One thing I wish could improve is student interaction on campus.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main.
