It is the best in Erode with good infrastructure that comes under 150 top engineering colleges.
Placements: Above 90% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Accenture, and Zoho. Almost 10 to 15% of students got internships. Top roles offered are full stack developer, front end and backend developer.
Infrastructure: We have high-tech laboratories, Mac System, and Windows i7 systems. We have libraries in all departments. We also have a common big library. All the students have permission to take a grant of all the facilities. Coming to the hostel, the environment, food, room, and restroom facilities are very good. We have a dispensary near the hostel for any medical emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers working here are more experienced and knowledgeable people. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum our department follows is relevant to placements. We follow Bloom's taxonomy and have up to k7 level. Our curriculum is based on the interview questions so it will be useful for placements.

Placements: Kongu Engineering College has good placement records, with around 90-95 percentage of students getting placed every year. This college has dedicated placement cell, that hard to bring companies likes Tata motors, teach Mahindra, TCS, Infosys etc. Average salary packages is INR 3-8 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Kongu Engineering College has good infrastructure facilities. The classrooms are more spacious and well maintained, and the laboratories are equipped with modern equipments. The college library is equipped with more recent edition of textbooks. The hostel facilities are good but hostel food is average, limited variety of food is available. Basketball ground is available in the college.
Faculty: Kongu Engineering College faculty members are more experienced and knowledgeable. Especially mechanical department staffs are very friendly. They conduct more practical oriented classes so students quickly understand the lessons. 95 percentage students passed in my batch (2021passed out). The college teachers help us in our final year projects.
Other: Kongu Engineering College is one of the best engineering college, so I select this college. I am choosing mechanical engineering course. This college provide s transportation facilities and free Wi-Fi network facilities. This college conducts many social awareness events in every month. This college gives more scholarships to well studied students.

About Kongu engineering college infrastructure and placement.
Placements: In our college, 85% of students are placed in our college and the placement in 2024 is very good. The course is good and the highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are 10 hostels - 7 boys hostels and the remaining are girls. 1st year hostel is dheearn and the hostel has good food and they have many rooms, more than 400 people can stay there. The hostel is good and there is a playground.
Faculty: The college has a good curriculum and has more than 100 courses and it is value for money. we have more faculty in our college, they guide us in a good way and the exams are good. Every month one exam is conducted and at last, the main exam is conducted.
Other: The college is good in placement, has good infrastructure and they treat us in a good manner and the teachers are good in our college.

My point of view for my college.
Placements: In my college, after completing the 5th semester, they started the training based on the placements. They provide more than 100 companies for placements in our college. In our department, there are 250 students, and out of these, 65 students got placed in the 6th to 7th semester. After that, many students got placed, and now they are also attending placements. Now 12 is only yet to be placed in our department. Students who didn't have more than one arrear are eligible to attend the placements. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. 90% of students got placed. After my degree, I want to get placed in IT.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very large and have projectors, besides being Wi-Fi enabled. In a room there are three members to stay; there are 3 cots, 3 tables, 3 chairs, and 3 cupboards. The restrooms are cleaned twice a day by cleaner servants. In girls hostels, they are strict. There is no outing, and no outside foods are allowed. In our hostel, they provide only vegetarian meals. The meal is good. We have to pay 80,000 for the hostel fee per year, which includes food, room, safety, current, cleaning, etc. There are washing machines also in our PG.
Faculty: There are more than 200 faculty members in our college and 100 more lab assistants in our college. In our department., most of the faculty members are very good and motivated the students very well. They listen to the family stories and then make the students be motivated. I liked my class advisory named Keerthika; she is very kind and caring. She motivated us to make some projects and paper presentations in intercollege. I didn't like one staff member; she is also our class advisor; actually, in one class, they have three class advisors. She always bullied me, so I didn't like her. Her name was Sagana. There are totally 8 semesters. We can skip the exams in the final year based on the credit system. If we get credit through NPTEL, we can skip the subjects. In our class, 5 students are not able to clear the exams. The curriculum is based on our domain. If the new technology comes, please include it in the curriculum.
Other: My preference in my 12th standard is to join a college in Chennai. So we did counseling; we put all the colleges in Chennai and only one college in erode, as our brother refers. In the counselling results, I got only one college, which is Kongu Engineering College. Starting, I have no idea about the college and the city. But after joining the college, I made many friends and met lovely staff. And the teaching is very good at our college, as are the placements also. The environment in our college is very green; it gives some energy to students. In our college, we paid one and a half lacs for admission for counselling students; after that, the semester fee is 25000 and the hostel fee is 80000. And for management students, they paid 800,000 for the donation fee and then 1 and a half lacs for the admission fee. The one and a half Lacs means 175000. For amenity rooms, it charges 70000 for hostels. 25000 for tuition fee, 5000 for book fee, 20000 for bus fee, 20000 for lab fee, development fee 15000, and other compulsory charges of 5000. The BC category received a 10,000 scholarship, while the SC category received a 25,000 scholarship.

My college is good, and they make student life beautiful and provide good job opportunities.
Placements: In my college, they give importance to placements and student activities. They provide good coaching and internships. In the placement cell, they provide coaching for students, such as aptitude classes, which are useful for interviews. They also offer coaching and make student life beautiful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my college is very good, and hostel food is above average. They only provide vegetarian food. In my hostel, they provide washing machines and free Wi-Fi for engineering students. The infrastructure in the civil engineering department is beautiful and evergreen.
Faculty: Faculty members are good; they are qualified, and every staff member has completed a Ph.D. They are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. Semester examinations are very strict. If we cheat, they put us under malpractice. Faculty staff explain every concept deeply and give examples for students.
Other: I chose a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering because I got low marks in the 12th public examination and received a low cutoff. However, in my college, all courses are going well. They provide jobs for a larger number of students if they have good communication skills.

KEC Hostel Infrastructure and Course Quality: An Honest Review
Placements: More than 90% of students get placed every year, and any software-based company is a top recruiter. The top roles offered in my course are full-stack development and back-end development. The highest package was 13 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. More than 80% of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure and lab facilities are nice and well-maintained. Hostel facilities are nice, but the food is the worst. Not worth the fee paid. No non-vegetarian food is provided, but nearby hotels are available. Gyms and sports facilities are available and well-maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are very nice and are always available for help. They always help and encourage students to participate in new events and competitions. The curriculum is updated every year and is up-to-date with industry trends. Semesters are not that hard, and the pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a computer science engineer. The best thing about his course is that we get exposure to all the other branches and courses. More scholarships should be provided to students who join through counseling, and hostel food should be and feels must be reduced.
