KIET is a dream college for CS students.

Placements: I think KIET is best in placement for CS student. KIET gives almost 75- 80% placement for CS/IT students. TCS and Tech Mahindra are major recruiters in computer science stream in this college. Many of the students get 2 jobs. So, in simple word, KIET is best for CS students.

If you are not in IITs or NITs, then being here isn't bad as compared to other private colleges.

Placements: The placements (regarding civil) were not too good. Very few could get placed from civil, that too in IT field this year, with an average package of around 6.2 LPA. The highest package was 9 LPA. 4 students have been placed in one of the core companies at around 3 LPA. If you are from CS-IT field, then the placements are well enough. This year, the highest was around 13.6 LPA with almost everyone having a job more or less. The placement cell is there which works in its top gear. Students prefer ...

This is a college with a bright future.

Placements: The placements for CS and IT are 90%. The placement department is very helpful. The electronics branch gets 60% placements. The mechanical and the civil branches have very fewer placements. IT companies come all over the year. You will get selected if you have some skills. The average package offered is Rs. 3L. The highest package offered this year is Rs. 13 L.

Really good fests organised by the college and good infrastructure.

Placements: KIET Group has good placement percentage, with almost all the students of computer science getting placed in good companies. Over 200 companies come to our college for recruitment, and hence KIET Group has a good record of placements and a fruitful college to join.

An overall review of KIET Group of Institutions.

Placements: The placement record at KIET is quite decent. However, there are mass recruitments in IT sector generally, but there are other companies too that offer a good package. Some of the companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, and others. The highest package till date in my knowledge is 14 lpa.

Good infrastructure with satisfying faculty members.

Placements: The placement opportunity is pretty good here in non-technical companies. Generally IT companies come to the college taking students from every stream. The placement percentage is always good. Most of the companies that come here are sales and marketing companies that offer sales profiles.

Satisfied with the faculty and dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: In our department, 40% of the students are placed in good core companies, and 15% are placed in IT companies. Overall, the placement percentage in mechanical engineering is 50%. I think this is not enough, but for a private college, it is very good. Some of the students are placed in HUL with the package of 7 LPA.

If you are going to take an admission in KIET.

Placements: About the placement, it is totally dependant on your skills and preparation because about 50 to 60 companies came till now this year, but they take only a few students. So, many companies come in KIET for the placement, and you should be prepared for that if you want to be placed.

This review involves all the pros and cons of KIET, which I have felt.

Placements: The placements are okay. As the industry is getting automated, placement scenario is going worse. Those who work hard, aside from the academics, get a better placement. In the college, join some club, society or group. Make projects, groom yourself, and get the good packages.

Absolutely satisfied with its placements and infrastructure. Only one thing is bad which is faculty.

Placements: There are good placements, especially for the computer science and the IT branch with almost 100%. The highest package offered every year is Rs. 15 LPA in the computer science or the IT branch while the lowest is Rs. 2 LPA. The average package is about Rs. 2.75 LPA. Almost, 175 companies have visited every year for the campus recruitment, in which there were 5-6 MNCs. The main MNCs companies are the TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Dell, HCL, Infosys, Wipro. These all MNCs hired almost 60-70% stud...

Placements: In 2017, the placements offered were good. From CSE department, approximately 120 students are placed out of 180 until December 2017. The highest package offered is 14 LPA and the average offered is 4.81 LPA, and 72 students offered more than 5 LPA. The companies visited our campus are ION trading, Kronos, Directi, Indian Navy, Adobe, IBM, etc. The roles offered were a software engineer, network engineer and marketing.

This institute is the best among the private institutes of UP.

Placements: When it comes to the placement in KIET, it is far better than the other colleges of AKTU (formerly UPTU). The mass recruiters like TCS, Cognizant and Infosys provide an average package of Rs. 3.4 LPA. Also, the placements for computer science is about 85% with an average of Rs. 3 LPA package. The companies provide a high package of Rs. 6 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs, but they hire only a few students. This year, BYJU gave Rs. 6 lakhs package, and the last year, ION trading gave Rs. 9 lakh package. When...

Dissatisfied with the crowd and the location of the college.

Placements: The placements offered are good for most of the students as many companies come to this college to pick students according to their needs, but in recent years most mass recruiters have stopped coming to our college. The average package that is offered to students is between 3-6 LPA.

It is good to be here, crowd is energetic and is willing to do anything.

Placements: The placements of our college are actually better than other AKTU colleges. The placements will be sure for all IT computer science students and even other branches also. We are mainly visited by software companies like Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra and more than 200 companies. This year's the highest placement is 12 lakhs per annum, and the average is 3.8 lakhs per annum which are quite a good compared to others.

There is hundred percent that most of the companies visit here are of the sector of the public, computer for IT sector. So, there is a perfect hundred percent placement for the computer science and IT students. KIET campus is gold in terms of infrastructre and curriculum but it lacks in terms of placements.

Placements: As far as the mechanical branch is concerned the placements are not as good as expected. The core companies that visit the college are very less, that is only one or two. CSE and IT branch students have good placements. The number of students recruited from mechanical was about 25 to 30 out of 240 students. So, placement is very poor for the students of our branch.

Placements: The placements of the ECE branch are average. Nearly 40 percent students were placed. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest offered was 2 to 3 LPA. The students got internships from several other companies, but are mainly provided by the institute. The students may go for the internship on their own, from any reputed company.

Placement was good in 2017, getting better year by year. Infra is okay.

Placements: Placement in KIET is above average- better than that of other private institutions in AKTU yet lower than the government colleges. The college authority always tries to call better companies so as to develop a sense of competition among the students. It may be noted that this year, the highest package was about 24 lacs bagged by a female candidate in an IT company. From my department, the highest package was about 9 lacs. Overall, the college is good. You will not regret if you go for this college.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch weren't as good as of our batch. In the previous year, it was around 70 percent. But in our batch, most of the students who were willing to get a job got placed. I think it would have been around 90 percent placement in our batch. If internship is taken into account, very few students got internships.
