Suitable for CS engineering, if you didn't get a seat in IIT.

Placements: The college provides 80% of placements nearly in the current scenario. Various companies like Newgen Tech, Kronos, Ion Trading, Capgemini, Hero Motocorp, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Fiserv etc., visit the campus for recruitments. In the year 2018, the highest package offered to the students is 13 LPA. There are limited internship opportunities to the students, and they have to manage on their own.

KIET is a best college in AKTU in private college, and absolutely it provide a great opportunity.

Placements: The placement in our college is good. Our seniors were placed in best companies. Mainly, not 100% placement, but mostly all have opportunities to get a job. The highest package offered was 14 lakhs per annum in our college, and the average is 5-6 lakhs per annum. 60-70% get an internship. Most of our seniors are placed in core companies, and also some are scoring in a GATE. The mechanical and civil students are preparing for GATE and civil service.

One of the best colleges in AKTU/UPTU and Delhi NCR.

Placements: Taking the scenario of the placements in the other private colleges into account, KIET has a far better record which is better than most of the government UPTU colleges as well. More than 250 companies visited the campus in 2017. The major recruiters are Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, BYJU, etc., and above 90% students got placed. The highest CTC offered to the students was Rs. 10 LPA with an average offer of Rs. 3.25 LPA. The main roles offered were related to the IT, production and manufacturing, a...

Placements were okay. Almost all will get a job but for core companies, the chances very less.

Placements: The placements were better for our batch as compared to the senior batch. Almost 80% of the students got a job but most of them got placed in mass recruiters like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Dell, etc). For electronics students, it was not good because no semiconductor company visited for the 2015 batch. I got placed in a semiconductor company from off-campus selection. for CSE branch, it was good. Mechanical branch is the best branch in KIET. People are getting good opportunities due to SAE and good pl...

The pros and cons of K.I.E.T. in a nutshell

Placements: The placements are better than in any other private college in AKTU university but there is no way the college will help you in the internship. You have to find it on your own. There is a good chance that you will get a decent package. The average package is 4-5 lacs and highest offer in 2017 was given by Direct-I at 27 lacs per annum or something.

K.I.E.T- A lane full of struggle with success at its end.

Placements: The college put in all their efforts to assure the students of at least one placement (specially CS-IT). Even this year, when the market is all disrupted, big companies are interested in campus drive at the college with whopping packages of 10-15 lacs. However, the average package still remains 3-3.5 lacs. But considering AKTU University, KIET is the epitome of the state.

This college may not attract you from its exterior but its a place where you'll learn a lot.

Placements: During first three months of our 7th sem 160 out of 200 students of CSE were placed. Till now 99% students are placed. Most of the placements are from CS/IT branch in BTech. Other branches are also good to take admission although the placement percentage is not that high as far as campus placements are concerned.

Nice infrastructure and good placements. Totally ragging-free college.

Placements: Placement is nice in CS, IT and ECE branches with an average package of up to 3.5 lacs and a percentage of up to 90%. In core branches such as ME, electrical and civil, it is difficult to get placed but some good companies also come like HCL which offered packages of 10 lacs to three students. Overall, the placement is not best but you can at least get a decent job if you work hard. The highest package is 10 lacs in the batch of 2017. Companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra hired a lot of students....

A very fine and worthy college for hardworking students.

Placements: The placement was good enough, it being a state level college. The placement was around 60 percent or above. The placement for core branches was limited with just 10-15 students placed in core to the maximum. There were good companies like HUL, Hero, Cummins, etc. visiting for core but they took a handful of students. Software companies were numerous and almost all the non-core branches got placed. The average package was 3-4 lacs, max. being 9 lacs for the college. ...

Placements: Placements in the college were average. Many private companies recruited in bulk like TCS and other companies were HCL, Samsung and many others. For core branches like mechanical, electrical, the recruitment was below average (around 30%), but IT sector company recruitments reached up to 70%. The highest package ranged up to 7 lakhs and the average package was 4 lakhs. The role of assistant designer/engineer was provided generally. Placements: As KIET is one of the prime institutions in AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University), the placements are good. On an average, every student is offered a placement and around 3-3.5 lakh per annum, which is an average placement amount of our institute. Many reputed firms such as Tech Mahindra, L&T, Landcraft etc offer placement to us (civil engg. students).

Placements: There were around 100% placements in CSE last year with an average salary of around 3.5 LPA of total 180 students. The highest placement was of 10 LPA of one of the student and a few other students got a decent package of 7 LPA.
