Quite satisfied because of the campus, hostel life and academic culture.

Placements: Placements for B.Tech in civil engineering is rather poor as only 5 students got placed in a core company (Shapoorji and Pallonji) and another 60 students got placed in IT companies like Accenture, Infosys and Cognizant. Total number of students in our batch are around 400. Average salary offered till now is around 3-4 LPA. Companies which are available for us to enroll for placements are iNautix, Shapoorji and Pallonji, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Byjus Think and Learn, CapitalVia and UX rea...

The best college for engineering. Particularly, it’s Electrical Engineering and Computer Sc. Department are among the best in the country. There are lots of activities for overall personality development. I study CS and we have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to choose among interdisciplinary subjects. Its huge 550 acres of green campus provides an awesome range of facilities & infrastructure for sports & fitness for a meagre fe...

KIIT University has an impressive infrastructure having 400 acres of campus area. Classrooms are very much comfortable. Batches comprises of around 350 students. Placement in IT sectors is very good but struggling one for the core branches. Campus environment is great, especially evenings are to be remembered always.

Equipped with modern day structural and geotech lab, KIIT stands out of most of the colleges in Orissa. Lots of hostel and recreational activities on campus and located at the outskirts of crowded city however conveniently accessible from almost anywhere. The college has performed well with the past placements if we compare the scenario with other colleges, lots of opportunities I would say. So its good right, after all it’s a job, maximum people want after graduation.

It is the best deemed university of Odisha. It was recently upgraded to A Grade University by MHRD. It offers graduate and undergraduate courses in many disciplines. Most of the faculties are from IITs and NITs. It has a good Placement record. This year in 2014 it has got more than 2500 job offers in a single day. It has one of the most vibrant campuses. The hostels are good. The area is safe for girls.

If you join this college, you will be professional.

Placements: About 70% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 3-5 LPA. Top four companies like Accenture, Wipro Cognizant and infosys, and some core companies like Shapoorji, Ashiana Housing, etc., visited our campus for placements. In my opinion, for IT seekers it is the better choice.

Everything is good like faculty and infrastructure, but only placements are not good.

Placements: Placements chances in our college are only 30% as 70% of the students are not placed. Companies frequently visit our college. But the maximum of them is IT companies. Civil companies visit very less. These core companies hire only 2 students or 5 from 450 students. Core companies also offer a salary up to Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month. Simplex is the only company which hire more than 30 students. But it takes under training process for 6-8 month with a low salary of around Rs. 8,000-10,000 per mon...
