Not the best college but a good one, if you have the ability you don't need any help.
Placements: Placements start from the pre final year itself. Where in companies like KPIT, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Sankalp semiconductors etc. Come for organizing placements. Each company has its own criteria set for students to be eligible for that company. Placement is about 60% for each out going batch.
Infrastructure: Every department has a separate building. Every department has separate lab facilities. A big ground for outdoor games and a 4 floored building for indoor games including well maintained gymnasium. Cleanliness and greenary also can be seen well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful some of them are qualified as well as skilled. Teaching quality is moderate. One won't get industrial exposure as much as he should get. Teaching techniques are a mix of everything. Sometimes it's just because you need to finish the portion.
Other: Fests are conducted two times a year, I. e. every semester. There are several programs which help students get involved in something interesting like projects, quiz, debates, etc. Sports is also given a high priority, every year there are University blues coming out of the college.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, but not much with the non-teaching staff and placements.
Placements: There are placements provided by multiple companies like Infosys, Wipro, Nadu chemicals, Nestle, and many other companies. Few companies are high profiled, and hundreds of students get immediate jobs in the campus before completing their college. Hardly 20% of the students get placements. We have a placement cell, but it is not so active.
Infrastructure: Like all colleges, even this college has facilities like Wi-Fi, well-structured labs, very high-quality classrooms, normal and digital library, and 25% off in few hospitals as the medical facility. Minimum 8-10 universities come to play every year, and there is a good support for sports. Also, the college holds NCC and NSS lead.
Faculty: There are hundreds of teaching faculty and more than 50 non-teaching staff. The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable with high teaching quality, and improved teaching methods. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30. We get industrial exposure, and the course curriculum is very useful.
Other: It is a peaceful place.

One of its kind and a place that let your thoughts, ideas and inspiration be the best.
Placements: Personally, I am not a fan of the campus placements and haven't been blown by any of them till now. I would say there's enough opportunity to get into a company, as many firms visit the college in the final years. The companies like TCS and KPIT have been associated with the college for more than a few years now, and genuine bookworms to get a chance to get hired.
Infrastructure: The college is one of the prestigious one in the city, the northern Karnataka. The infrastructure with none the least fact. It offers the facilities for the students like spacious classrooms, three-storeyed libraries with great collection and E-Library in the campus as well. The practical laboratories have the state of the inventory machines and technologies. The college strives continuously to offer the best infrastructure possible. For the sports there's a ground, sports complex gym, badminton courts *2, carrom and indoor sports have enough rooms. Each department has well furnished and equipped buildings.
Faculty: As being a VTU affiliated university college, it stands to follow the curriculum and course structure as given by the university for the year. The faculty in the mechanical, civil, and chemical are outstanding and have groomed few of the textbook authors of the VTU prescribed book writers from the college. Rest departments, electronics & communication have great faculty.
Other: It's a decent offering college. A lot to be learnt and the principal stands to be the cherry on the cake. He is extraordinarily supportive towards the students when it is concerned about their academics, extracurricular activities, everything and must be supported by him. He's charming and encourages us to be better and best day after day.

Other: With the arrival of the new principal, a lot of scope is being given to extracurricular and cultural activities. Things have started to improve and KLE is on its way to becoming a good engineering school. The infrastructure and quality of teaching is improving at a snail's pace. Placements were good until 2012 but degraded ever since then.
