I recommend this college for students who are taking an electrical engineering course.

Placements: Many reputed companies offered placements for our college students, like Adani Solar, Tata Group, etc. About 85% of the student participate in our college campusing camps, and many students get jobs in those companies. Our college offered many paid and free internships in various companies.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is very good. Our labs have many facilities, and classrooms are also big and clean. Our college doesn't have a hostel. Our canteen is very good. There are varieties of food items, and the quality and taste are also very good. Our college participates in indoor and outdoor sports.

Faculty: Our college teachers are very helpful. They have a lot of knowledge about the course. They teach us properly about our course and make us ready for the industry. They used a projector for teaching us. Exams were quite tough in the last semester. Our college passing percentage is 89% in the last year.

If you want to learn and study those departments are better than normal electrical engineering.

Placements: 60% students were placed in my course. The highest 15000 package offered, the lowest 8000 package offered and average 10000 package offered in my course. About 15 percent students got internship from my course. Very few companies visit in our college for placement.

Infrastructure: Classroom of my college is average size. Wi-Fi is available only for lab purpose. Library is good but don't have sufficient books you don't find all subjects. Food service of college canteen is good. Kolaghat and mecheda don't have any hostel. There are a playground in college. Annual sports are organised by college students.

Faculty: Some teachers are new in KGP. They are helpful and students friendly. Some teachers are highly qualified and teaching quality is good. One teacher can teach more than one subject. Not so much study pressure from teachers so you can easily get great marks.

Other: Annual sports, fest, Teachers day organised every year by college students.

This college is pretty good.

Placements: 50% of students were placed in the course. 15,000 the highest package offered. Around 8000 is the lowest package offered. Around 10,000 average packages offered. Very rarely do companies recruit in this course. 10% of students got internships in any company. Supervisor post offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only for lab purposes. Labs and machinery are available. Library is available. And books are available for every semester. No hostel is available for either boys or girls. Foods in canteen is quite good. First aid available. Playground is available. Annual sports are organized every year.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful. They are qualified. Also, they are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. This course is curriculum relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam is quite difficult. The passing percentage is around 30 percent.

Other: Teacher's day, fresher, annual fest organized by student committee.

Averagely satisfied because of faculty.

Placements: In my course, there were 20% of students placed and others found on their own. For Diploma students the highest salary is around rs-/10000 and the lowest salary is rs-/7000. In my college, there were some electrical companies and some mechanical companies.

Infrastructure: In my college the size of the classroom is average but no Wi-Fi is there for the students. Labs are neither very small nor very big but the instruments are not sufficient. The library is big but the books are less. In my college, there is no hostel system but around college lots of mess are situated. The food quality is good in the college canteen. Sports and games are organised by the college.

Faculty: In my college, teachers are very helpful. Some of the teachers are highly qualified and some of the teachers are medium qualified. The knowledge they have is very good and they teach very easily so that students can understand. This course curriculum is relevant.

Other: I chose this course because in this course I learnt about electrical and mechanical. In my college, 2 times event are organised one is fresher welcome and other is fest.
