Review of Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering.
Placements: The placements in our college are not good, but IT and computer science students get some placement opportunities. The faculty members are good. There are only a few companies that visit the college. There are some activities planned. The placements are also arranged for other branches, but they are not many. Almost, IT companies visit for placements. Getting the placement is up to you and your performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There is a good seminar hall in our college. The canteen is good. The library is nice with lots of books. The departments are nicely handled by the college management. Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus. The medical facility is available on the campus. The sports competition is organised every year. Inter-college and intra-college indoor games are conducted in our college.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice. There are good teaching staff. The teachers are hard working. They give their 100% for the betterment of the students. They are always helpful. The lab assistants are very helpful. Barne sir, Jambhulkar mam, and the Hod are nice. The principal is supportive. All over, it is a nice college to take admission.
Other: The college is nice, and it is on the downside of Thane.

4 years of ups and downs in KGCE.
Placements: I got placement from the college through the placement drive by CMS company with a package of Rs. 96,000 per annum. The jobs offered were for desktop support engineer designated as associate trainee engineer. Other small companies also come to the college, but very few are selected. For ExTC branch, the chances of placement are less.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Probably, in our last year of the college, they did some makeover to the labs and equipment. The library is equipped with good books for reference in various subjects. The college has an inter-departmental library as well. The canteen was upgraded recently by the management.
Faculty: 4-5 faculty are worthy to be professors. Some of them just spend 1 hour for the class. The curriculum is hardly completed for any subject. Pillangwad ma'am, Lohana sir, Dakhave sir, GGG sir, Jambhulkar ma'am, Dipti ma'am, Barne Sir are very helpful. The library is well-equipped with almost all the needed books and has internet lab for surfing as well.
Other: The college has a good sports event played among different engineering branches of the college. The technical fest is called Spring Fiesta, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The technical paper presentation is also arranged.
