Seriously not recommended considering placements, money spent on admission.
Placements: The college does not have great placements, and in fact, no one yet got placed through the college in a good company. Few guys got placed like 1 or 2, and the others are still struggling to get placed in our instrumentation field even they always say that we were working on your placements, but no one does.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that bad considering Karjat side of colleges, but not that great too. The classrooms are pretty old school type and labs having a pretty low amount of equipment. Considering 3 canteens nearby, they are the only places to enjoy college life and yes forgot to mention our college was full of honey bees hives. But they seem very friendly no one got attacked by then unless you attack first on them. So, overall good village feeling around infrastructure.
Faculty: By considering our instrumentation staff, some of them were helpful and friendly as compared to other branches staff. Some of them having teaching skills quite impressive, but many of them were just taking lectures and doesn't considering that even any of their students understanding what they were taught or not. The course curriculum was quite good, but teaching we're not.
Other: Speaking of extracurricular, it's great for that (the only enjoyable thing over their). The campus ground was also good everybody enjoying their college life just for fun.

The college is good with the relaxed environment, and good festivals.
Placements: In 2014, the couple of companies came to the campus interview. The initial salary offered is 8K per month. There are no placements, but you will manage to get the job as you pass out from the college due to its good reputation. There is no dedicated placement officer in Konkan Gyanpeeth. The teaching staff from any other departments work as the placement officer because there is no focus on the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good. You will experience the beautiful view from the college, especially in the rainy season. Each department has their different classrooms, labs, and equipment. The instrumentation and EXTC departments are adjacent to each other and the same with CSE, IT, and mechanical.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and guide you in a good manner. They cover the syllabus well in time before the examination. The labs in the department are well-equipped. The professors help you to clear your concepts. The practicals are taken seriously. Lots of assignments are given to the students as homework. The submission is well before the examination so that the student should get the number of days for the preparation.

Not very bad, but no placements.
Placements: There were placements for mechanical engineering and Godrej used to come. But for other departments, there were no placements. You have the only option of open campus drives in other colleges. Informatively still, there are no campus placements being conducted and instrumentation students never got placed from the campus.
Infrastructure: It is a very old college. Two L-shaped buildings are there. One of those, which is new, has a good infrastructure. The old one has old desks(similar to those in a school). The library is good and as usual but in the exam time, you can't expect that you will get any book which you want. The library space is OK but the seminar hall is small. The canteen at our times was with wooden shades. The other two canteens are outside the campus and are OK.
Faculty: The faculty team in KGCE is very supportive. They help students a lot to understand subjects. They always provide guidance(if you want/if you ask them). Instrumentation faculty members are very nice. In terms of teaching, they are OK. They have knowledge but somewhere maybe, their teaching skills are lacking.

Other: Infrastructure is good. Extra-curricular activities like sports, cultural are there. Teaching faculty is good. For last year project students are inspired for making real models. There is Technical fest in every year. Hardly any placements. Efforts are taken for placements but as the college is far away from Mumbai Company avoid coming from there. Industrial visits are good.
