After spending much time in train travelling, it takes another half an hour to reach college.

Placements: Just 2-3 companies visit the campus for the placements and will offer you a salary in between 2-3 lacs per annum. Recently, this year, two companies came for the placements, and it was pool placements. In that, just 3 to 4 students got placed. The IT-based companies visit the campus for the placements. The placements for the mechanical branch are low.

No good placement, but infrastructure is good.

Placements: Usually, this time, we need more placements, but this college is not good with placements. It was better than earlier though. I would recommend the management to increase the volume in this line instead of grabbing money in the name of stationary from the students.

Seriously not recommended considering placements, money spent on admission.

Placements: The college does not have great placements, and in fact, no one yet got placed through the college in a good company. Few guys got placed like 1 or 2, and the others are still struggling to get placed in our instrumentation field even they always say that we were working on your placements, but no one does.

4 years of ups and downs in KGCE.

Placements: I got placement from the college through the placement drive by CMS company with a package of Rs. 96,000 per annum. The jobs offered were for desktop support engineer designated as associate trainee engineer. Other small companies also come to the college, but very few are selected. For ExTC branch, the chances of placement are less.

My college, my view but your choice.

Placements: Many companies recruit students from our college. There are open pool campus recruitments held in the college. Toppers usually get recruited by Wipro, TCS, etc. The placement for our senior batch was a great thing as almost 60% of the students got recruited.

Infrastructure is very good and need placements for all the branches.

Placements: There are no placements except few third-party consultancies recruitment during our batch. One should not expect when it comes to placements at K.G.C.E. And, same was the situation of past 3year senior batches. Profound Consultancy offered jobs to 3-4 students from 2016 batch as a Java developer with below 15k per month salary.

Completely dissatisfied with the staff and the faculty. The placements are the worst.

Placements: KGCE doesn't have a better record of placements. But almost, every year, about 30% of the students from CSE branch gets placed. It varies up to the students, some people go for the placements and some people won't. For such kind of college, nobody would ever think of getting placed.

AICTE approved well defined and highly educated engineering college.

Placements: From my branch, up to 20-30 senior students are placed. By this year, 50 percent of the students are placed. The highest salary offered was Rs.3,50,000 to the topper of the college. The companies which have visited our college is Godrej Pvt. Ltd. and many more.

College is situated far from Karjat station which makes it unattractive. It is fine in other sense.

Placements: We did not come across it yet, but as per my knowledge, every year, Godrej selects 5 students from here. I don't have any idea of salary, but you have to be a good scholar to get yourself selected for an interview. It all depends on you if you are worth it, you will definitely get a job.

The institution with nature as god gifted but initial development need to be done.

Placements: Placement was not so good, but the training and placement department manage to get one pool campus for us. Fortunately, one of our batchmates got placed with good package. I got placement through campus in one of the core companies, but the pay is not much. Manage to get attract the companies to organise campus drives in the college, but failed to attract the giant company. As I belong to production, I got an opportunity to do my internship with the company like Godrej and Boyce.

The college is good with the relaxed environment, and good festivals.

Placements: In 2014, the couple of companies came to the campus interview. The initial salary offered is 8K per month. There are no placements, but you will manage to get the job as you pass out from the college due to its good reputation. There is no dedicated placement officer in Konkan Gyanpeeth. The teaching staff from any other departments work as the placement officer because there is no focus on the placements.

The college is good. Faculty are helpful, and overall, the infrastructure is huge and good.

Placements: The placement for our senior was not good, due to the new management of our college. They assure us for the good company on our campus. The minimum salary was 10 lakhs, and maximum, it was around 60-80 lakhs per annum. Godrej and Tata was the highlighted one for the campus. The role was normal consultant mostly. The percentage was around 20. As I said, the highest was 50 lakhs, minimum it was 5 lakhs.

Many of the Mumbai toppers are from this college.

Placements: Our college doesn't have any placements. They have placements, but the companies are not big. Wipro is one of the companies which came for placements. Now they have collaborated with JIV so that students get more facilities for campus interviews and everything is very nice and good. I recommend taking admission in that college as many toppers of Mumbai University are also from there.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement of our college is fair, but the non-related jobs are offered, and there is a less chance of getting placed. At the time of admission, they said that the college has almost 100 % placements, and it was true. 6 out of 6 eligible students got placed in Godrej, after that the placement ratio has come down from the past three years. This year, only one student from our branch got selected for Godrej.

The teaching and grading system is not in sync.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not provided by the college but you get industry exposure through college internship which they provide you while you're in your last year. The final placement scenario is not even there. People from IT and computer get placed or they get a chance to do a job but the salary offered is too low which you will get easily by off-campus placements.

Golden year - 2013 - Review by General Secretary of the Student Council

Placements: Production Engineering is a sandwich course with 6 months of in-plant training. Godrej & Boyce and Siemens are the available choices for the in-plant training (students from production engineering branch are proactive and usually find themselves company of their choice with the help of seniors) which helps in getting preference during the actual placement drive. Godrej & Boyce is the known company among the students which selects students from the mechanical and production branch. The average se...

Not very bad, but no placements.

Placements: There were placements for mechanical engineering and Godrej used to come. But for other departments, there were no placements. You have the only option of open campus drives in other colleges. Informatively still, there are no campus placements being conducted and instrumentation students never got placed from the campus.

Lack in placements. Otherwise, nice college.

Placements: The placements are really poor. Hardly 3-4 companies come and that also in the second half of the year. Students got a package of around 1.5-2 lakh. The companies that came to visit are Godrej and some small companies. If you are looking for a high salary job at the end of your four years then don't join this college.

This college has many disappointing things. Placements of this college are very poor.

Placements: Placement of this college is very poor. This college is 25 years old but no improvement in placement. Only Godrej is coming for campus interviews and hires only 2 or 3 students from production and mechanical branches. Other 2-3 local companies that come offer only 8000 - 10000 per month. In short, the overall placement is very poor.

Overall, the college is good but many improvements have to be done in the college.

Placements: Campus rounds are conducted frequently but the companies are not satisfactory. ThecCollege is trying well for placements but more efforts are needed from college side. The college is arranging some programs for development of skills of the students. Training and placement department is trying to give placements for the students but it should try to bring some standard companies.
