Review of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Overall, there are good placements here, and it depends on the department you choose. I am from the mechanical department, and it's quite rare to get some good companies. If you have a good score, you will surely get a chance to attend interviews in good MNCs like TVS, Siemens, etc.

Riview from alumni of KPRIET (14-18 batch).

Placements: For civil engineering no core company has visited for recruitment. But for EEE, ECE, CSE has good placement opportunity. Marketing and BPO company has recruited 10-20 students with package of 15-20k. Company's like zoho had recruited 1-2 person in CSE, ECE with high package. Many company has recruited EEE, ECE, CSE students in their core field. Placement class are conducted at semester holidays, software trainings are also provided like AUTOCAAD, STAADPRO, PRIMEAVERA.

Good placement in the current year and has the really good infrastructure.

Placements: The training and placement department is doing good. Mostly BPO placements are there. The core companies are there only for above 7.5 CGPA students. The students need communication skill. 80% of the students have been placed. The maximum salary offered was 7.5 lacs per annum. The companies like kGISL and Technosoft came for the placements.

Caution: Not for all, only for robots.

Placements: Based on current status, the placement for mechanical engineering students is quite less. The companies which come for placement requires more students above 7.5 CGPA which is very low in a department. Due to this issue, many companies refuse to come for placements. From next year onwards they are planning to bring some core companies and other departments placement status
