Best college for home science in Delhi.
Placements: There are plenty of internship opportunities available to students during and after graduation. Some of the areas where students can intern include nutrition, fashion, textiles, child care, and event management. Although there is no official placement cycle, students can approach their professors for references.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, the campus is green and pleasant, and the labs are well-equipped. There is a very big library, a canteen, a computer resources center, a medical emergency room, and a games room.
Faculty: The faculty were very knowledgeable and supportive, and the teaching methods were impressive and easy to understand. The course curriculum was designed to cater to every student and prepare them for industry. The semester process was also very transparent and fair.

The faculty is too good, but our college doesn't provide placement for the students.
Placements: If a student gets 85%, they can think of getting admission to our college. Teachers are supportive, but the problem with our college is that they do not offer any placement to the student after completion of the course due to the absence of a placement society.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is amazing. The college provides free Wi-Fi to the students, and medical facilities, canteens, and hostels are all good with proper hygiene maintenance. Hostelers get to eat different meals every day with different cuisines. The college has its own stationery, too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful; they teach students with the help of PPT. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready due to the practical knowledge they get. We have to perform practicals on weekdays under the guidance of an appointed teacher and lab staff.

I am not satisfied with faculty members and courses.
Placements: Around 60-90% of students got placed in our course. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Washrooms are not clean. Our college has a small basketball court, a library, a canteen, a medical room, etc. Our college is not clean, but it provides good food.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. They want us to attend classes. They fail us if we don't attend classes. The course curriculum is not relevant. We have subjects like science, textile, nutrition, etc.
Other: Our college should remove non-relevant subjects. It conducts around 2-3 events. Our college conducts only one fest. Our college does not conduct extracurricular activities. It has an NCC club. Our college fee is around Rs. 20,000-25,000 per year.

A hidden gem having best ecosystem ?
Placements: I went to Lady Irwin College in 2021 and had a good experience. College doesn't have lot of job placements especially for bsc home science pass course. But yes it do helps you in networking and making new connections if you join any of the societies.
Infrastructure: Actually we have a really cool campus with those brown building. Kabir Singh, Queen are one of those few films that are shooted in our college. Few clips are available on college Instagram handle too. Library is huge . It has a separate area for pg students and bed students which has Air conditioner as well
Faculty: It has an affordable fee structure. As much as a i remember I paid 30-35k for 2 semesters which is an year. Curriculum is relevant. Teachers are experienced as well as cooperative . You can find admin staff a bit rude at times due to lack of staff there
Other: Best things are college campus. They've created beautiful ecosystem over there with peacocks all around you can see them almost everyday in gardens and over the building. Lots of fruit trees I remember children trying to have mangoes from the garden. In the backyard it also has a garden full of vegetables growing where you can actually purchase those.
