Review of Lady Irwin College.

Placements: There is no placement cell in our college for students. Teachers can help in providing references for companies for internships, but you have to arrange internships on your own. Students did internships in companies like Delhi Milk Scheme, Mother dairy, etc. Some bakery and other workshops are conducted regularly. Students have to search for internships and jobs on their own. Since the college is renowned, the probability of getting placed is more. Moreover, most of passed out students successfu...

Really good college life.

Placements: Placements are not good. Companies does not come here for recruitment for our stream may be because of less connections as it is comparatively new course in the college. College needs to work upon the placements. We need to look upon the internships too of our own.

The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There are no placements for undergraduates. You have to look for a job on your own. Hardly anyone gets placed in our batch. You have to search for an internship on your own, and none of the companies comes to recruit. You can become a food technologist, food supervisor, etc.

Satisfaction due to great academic and management. The crowd is great.

Placements: We do not have a placement cell although placements are good if the student works hard and have good academics. Various campus placements take place such as Health Foundation of India etc. Faculty members also recommend students who have magnificent academic and extracurricular participation. Even our senior got placed in various good companies.

It is a perfect college for girls.

Placements: There are no direct placements from our college, and students get placed by teachers approach. The recruitment companies are Nestle, Cadbury, Kellogg's, etc. The top role got by students is a dietician. As there are no direct placements, I don't have an idea about salary packages. Our college doesn't provide internships, so students did on their own contacts.

Satisfied with my college due to uniqueness of my course.

Placements: I am still pursuing my graduation and will get placed by college only if I do my M.Sc. from here itself as they don't offer placements after completion of B.Sc. After M.Sc. there are good placement options available in the food and nutrition industry. Internships are mandatory in M.Sc. final year as per as my knowledge.

I spent the best years of my life in this college. It's the best girls' college.

Placements: The only saddest part about our college is it doesn't provide placements. I'm pursuing a UG course, and there are no placement opportunities for UG students from the college. I'm not sure about PG and other courses. I am in the third year, and they do help us by providing information about job opportunities, but as such, companies are not visiting the campus for placements.

Placements: Placements were average but our college is working out on them. So it's good in one way. It is encouraging more and more people to take up this stream because it has a lot of scope. Salary is good many companies have visited like intel communication etc.
